Connecting several AUX products into the 1 AUX input on the Hi-Fi
Hi
I think it is a box that I'm looking for that allows me to connect many things that have rca anologue connections into the same thing... .... Example: I have a DVD Player, DTT Box and PC. Now is there a box that i connect them into and then plug the box into "Aux left /right" such a box must exist if so what is it called as I may only have "Aux L/R". If i get just a cheap-o all in one. (For now anyway) At the moment i have these jacks from maplin which i connect both lefts (dvd/pc) into it and put that into the left and both rights into a right and they go into left and right of the Aux ( well actually they are laying on the table where the JVC used to be)!! Sounds like you're after something like this...
Maplin - Audio Switch Box There are quite a few audio and video (I know you're not after that but the A/V ones are cheaper than audio only) on the Splitters and Switches page. |

Cheers GerryC
Alex P.s I don't seem many people use them - or is it because people only have one item in the "AUX" input on the back - probabally is. |

I use the phono outputs of my scart switcher to output whichever device is being viewed at the time to my Sharp Dolby ProLogic HiFi

As GDB just said, people probably use something else to choose which to listen to. Previously, I just had a "Scart - phono" lead from the TV to the hi-fi so that you listen to whatever is showing on the TV. Now use an amp so everything has it's own connectors on the back (including digital sound from the DVD). There's quite a few options - just depends on how much you want to spend and what you want to achieve. Gerry |
