For me it's very rare that a song immeadiately hiots my upon first listen and it usually takes me a while before i sink into songs even those which ends up being my favourites. Only a few songs strike me as immeadiate - i can remember little boots - remedy for example.
What songs struck you upon first listen?

Happens all the time to me. Can't be bothered to think back and compile a long list just now.

But most recently it happened when I heard Tinie Tempahs new song Written In The Stars and Rihanna's single Hard.

I rarely love a song from the first listen, but a few recent examples I can think of are:

Robyn - Dancing On My Own
M.I.A - XXXO
Alphabeat - The Spell
Jade Ewen - Punching Out
Sugababes - Thank You For The Heartbreak

Shakira - Men In This Town

Recently:

White Sky - Vampire Weekend
Say You Don't Want It - One Night Only
Echoes - Klaxons
Crossfire - Brandon Flowers
Teenage Dream - Katy Perry
Club Can't Handle Me - Flo Rida ft. David Guetta (I hate myself for this one )

And then a lot of All Time Low songs.

And also the brilliant Ever So Shy by General Fiasco.

mewithoutYou - In A Sweater Poorly Knit

One of my personal favourite songs. The lyrics, the harp ending, everything about it is all so epic and beautiful. This is how all songs should be written.
The trap I set for you seems to have caught my leg instead...

(all hyperbolic statements yes, but I'm in love )

Misery Business by Paramore - It was the first time I'd heard them (I caught the last 20 seconds of the song) and LOVED it. Been a massive fan ever since. Got tickets to one of their November shows this year.

When I first heard the leaked demo of Bad Romance.

That was one of those 'holy shit' moments.

Then it happened again when the final version debuted on the radio.

Umbrella took AGES to grow on me. I agree with Amnesia though.

Charming.
I'm not exactly forcing you to listen to any of the songs.

Really?
The ella-ella-ella-eh-eh bit didn't quite stick in your mind?

I don't know about you but Amnesia should have been a single.
It's one of her best songs ever, I think.

One more to add:
OneRepublic - Say (All I Need)

I remember hearing it in the car and hating it (Umbrella) and didn't get the huge fuss about it. Grew on me eventually though.

I'd have liked Amnesia to be a single. It was an early favourite of mine from Circus.

I hated amnesia the first time but it's one of her best album tracks ever. Really different from her.
