The Script - For the first time
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XLJv57zE2To&feature=av2e
I don't normally like The Script, but I really like this song - even if the lyrics are taking advantage of the Recession - I think it will speak to a lot of people, Any one else like it? |

Yeah i think i heard that the whole 'Science & Faith' album will reflect Ireland's current economic climate which is seriously worse than the UK

It's a bit lame but I was made redundant thanks to the big R (actually because my boss was a cowboy and squandered his finances during the good times) and when I hear this song it just makes me sad the lyrics "Don't give up on me baby" it's kinda how I feel.

I wish The Script would just p*ss off. They are a massive embarrassment to us Irish people and I can't stop apologizing on behalf of my nation for inflicting them on the world

I think it just sounds like more of the same as before and I was pretty fed up of hearing them the first time round.

They're boring, and the song is average. I don't get the hype - exactly what is good about it? Apart from the fact that they get WAY too much airplay (you can't turn the radio on without hearing something by the script from ONE album) there is no other reason for their success. Not to mention he sounds like he needs a strepsil or 10 when singing live.

They're like a boyband... that isn't a boyband... but is a boyband...?

I don't get some of the hate for The Script. Ok they are hardly the most groundbreaking band but I find their songs very pleasant and hummable, and nice to sing along to. And they are such decent, honest, hard working lads too. Really nice guys.
