Over the past couple of months i have had it on constant repeat and felt i had to share considering how hardly any brought her album to hear it

Great song, never realized it was a cover though, how very odd. Quite a few standout tracks on that album actually and I think Battlefield is like the 6th most played song on my iPod (something like 100+ plays (mainly from last summer when I got addicted!), but SOS and The Cure were also great tracks too!

Can't wait to see what Jordin does next, one of my favourite idol alum, shes in some musical on Broadway at the moment, right? Looking forward to her next album and apparently shes done a cover of "Beauty and the Beast" for the blue-ray release of Disney's BatB so CANNOT wait for that!

Yeah she is in broadway. I love Jordin. I adore her battlefield album and if i am honest, she is my favourite american idol. I like Kelly clarkson but Kelly isn't consistent for me plus she isn't the type whose albums and songs i become addicted to for weeks on ends.

SO close! lol This is what I meant when I said your taste was nearly always impeccable lol Kelly is clearly the best idol! All of her albums are great (with the possible exception of Thankful) and I even love My December too, I think alot of people just don't "get" it?

I'd say Kelly, Carrie, Jordin, Kris, Fantasia, David, Lee, Ruben and Taylor, and thats only for the winners, Adam Lambert, Crystal Bowersox and Brooke White deserve special mentions as my favourite non-winners

Actually, there is another ballad from Jordin's latest album that I heard after being linked to it on my reccomendations on youtube. I can't remember what it was called but it was beautiful.

Battlefield annoyed me after a while, as it was so overplayed on radio and music channels, but I reckon if I heard it again now I'd like it. She's got a cracking voice, absolutely brilliant, and she seems like an absolute sweetheart. I remember seeing her on the Paul McCartney and she was adorable, so lovely. So were Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga when they were on actually.

Ahh Fantasia. Not a huge fan but she is very underated these days. Carrie is brilliant but country aint my thing.

I don't see the hype on Adam lambert. He is different but the finish product was awful imo

Alot of people would agree with you about Kelly. Sales wise she is the best idol. I tend to be the person who prefers the one that isn't the best idol. I always tend to go in the opposite direction on most things. My december is an album people don;t get it. I did buy it. I think maybe i connected with it due to a dark time in my life and I instantly sold it when my life improved.

Awh, hes great! I reckon his time on Idol was better than what he is going for now (in particular my hatred for " For Your Entertainment"'s album art! The guy wears guyliner once or twice and that photo makes him look like some photoshopped transexual) but the album is still pretty class, especially its singles!


Kelly always has the best songs for dark times and relationship drama, its one of the things shes probably best known for lol but yeah, I reckon thats why I "understood" My December too! Plus to me it stands for a great moment when a mainstream artist basically told their record label to "bugger off" so she could do it her way!

I always sort of worry about Kelly, I can't remember how many albums she has with her label (she did say something like "only 2 left!") a while back (possibly before "All I Ever Wanted"?), I'd love to see what she goes with next and where she decides to take her music career cause shes got ALOT of talent and I'd love to see her get back to her "soul-y" roots from Idol but how popular that'd be sales wise who knows!

I'm a Fefe Dobson fan, so love the original. But Jordin's version is just as good, and I was pleasantly surprised to see it on her album when I bought.

Really? I thought his album was the best reality show contestant album I have heard, yes better than Leona in my opinion. Theres so much variety, with material from Pink, Gaga, Sam Sparro and more.

If your not sure on him, Id say give Fever or Sure Fire Winners a listen, those are the two that persuaded me to buy the album.

Anyway back on topic... I do love Jordin, I never knew this was a cover. In my opinion No Parade, Let It Rain and The Cure are the best on the album.

I love Adam Lambert. He's a god amongst men, that one.
