Moing from BT to o2 at the end of the month - BT refund
Moving my home phone service from BT to o2 at the end of the month.
I am not in contract with BT and calculate that I will be about £55 in credit by then. Do BT automatically send me a cheque or credit my bank account or do I have to hound them to get the money? |

If its anything like it was for me, you will have to chase, and chase, repeatedly highlight blatent false promises of payment given by call centre staff, and then eventually refuse to get off the phone until an electronic transfer is made there and then. Worked for me in the end.

None of the systems the call centre staff have access to are able to make electronic transfers. They just arrange for the transfer to be done in the background within a few days which is what should have been done previously.
As the OP will be closing their account what will happen it the final bill will be generated within 10 days of the account being closed and a cheque should follow within 7 days. |

I had a refund paid into my bank account automatically around 3 weeks after I had moved my phone service to O2. http://i33.tinypic.com/kexetz.jpg |
