It was laughable how much they promoted the Josie Show tonight Mind you, I don't mind Josie, she's not a favourite of mine but I do think she's been a good housemate.

It's funny but Mario said something which I totally agree with, Josie is much much better without John James. He he he's lucky that there's not a vote to evict now because anyone who says or does anything against the great BB love of the century is doomed, as Sam and Corin found out. But he's so right..

Hello,

My name is Jasmin McDermott and I am a reporter for the Southend Echo.
I have been forwarded your email about the petition that has been set up with regards to the protrayal of Mario Mugan, and I am planning to write a piece about it.
Would it be possible for you to call me or to give me your contact number so that we can have a bit more of a chat about it.
I will be in the office until 10pm tonight and my direct telephone number is 01702 321138.

I look forward to hearing from you,

Many thanks and kind regards,

I called her, and we had quite a long chat. I mentioned the Ch4 site, and how hard it had been to post positive comments for Mario, while some of the negative ones getting through moderation were bordering on libelous, and that it had taken mass complaining to get this changed and that now the worst of the meaness had been taken down.

I also mentioned the strange protecting of dave, and that he was partially responsible for a lot of the negativity toward Mario as well as other HMs.

They are planning to do a piece in the paper tomorrow about concerns about the editing, and will bring up the petition. I suggested that she try to get in touch with sam Pepper, as he is alos from Southend, was a friend to mario in the house and is backing him to win. I said that since most of the HMs assumed that he would be popular in the outside, they wer clearly unaware of the constant negative edits he had been getting.

I stressed that it was the unfairness that was our main concern, as obviously, editors can't include everything, but it was just plain wrong that Mario was almost never shown in a good light, and if his actions couldn't be twisted to look bad, he would be cut out altogether. I also siad that one of our big concerns was that. as a huge BB fan, Mario would be devestated when he came out and saw how he had been shafted.

I know that this is coming late, bit she did seem concerned, adn said that she would pass on the petition information to Mario if he got in touch with them. I gave her my number. so she may call me again tomorrow night.

I am so glad that finally smeone is looking into this. Let's hope something comes of it.”

Cool.... bit late though lol.

It wasnt too bad really, too much Josie getting HER perfect day and the others just joining in lol but the Mario parts werent too bad at all really, the slapping Andrew on the arse bit was pointless and kind of looked like it was added on for the hell of it.

haha, local papers are the best!!! So glad I remembered to look them up .

I know it's late, and all the negative posting in that thread even had me doubting the rationale of the petition, but I'm glad that someone is reporting it.

God, I'm wondering what parts of the petition they will quote. It'll be a line. Then likely a quote from you .

Well-done, thanks for sending it out!!!

Dull but okay for Mario.

Oh, and well done Remma! You should probably edit your post to take out the reporter's phone number though, I don't think you're allowed to post things like that.

She did seem like a weight had come off her shoulders. Think she would actually have interacted loads more with all the other hms if JJ1 hadn't been there and she hadn't had to listen to his constant criticisms of them for really trivial reasons.

Interesting about that southend paper and the unfair editing. Unfortunately, it has been happening for the last few BB's. Well, all of them really, it's just got ever more blatant with each series.

It's very unprofessional imo, but I think Mario is aware to a certain extent that it's been the JJJ show anyway and that no-one but one of them was ever in with a real chance of winning because of that.

His getting to the final despite BB's best efforts to prevent it is actually a real triumph.

Shame BB is so shallow and just wastes really interesting hms for silly so-called "romances" - which they weren't going to do this year according to them

Don't think Mario is that fussed about the ubb thing anyway, think being in the final was his goal and having achieved that is enough for him.

Tag team with me and we'll try - the problem is that people just don't seem to be responding much. I need to be wittier .

I remember at the start of the series I really liked Josie but went off with the whole John James thing (which is weird because I didn't partially hate jj1 or anything) I like Josie as a housemate when he's not around. If Mario has to lose to someone tomorrow I'm glad it's her. I don't know if that made any sense sorry

Definately. What with the risky mole task, the crappy editing, and the biased spinoff shows, the odds have been against him for most of the show but he made it anyway!

Apparently Mario was trending on London tweets . I'm set to the UK - and unfortunately not trending that far

I fear that people will have to vote A LOT to make Mario have a chance. BB didn't want Rachel Rice to win, and I think that may be because of all the votes people gave her on here, (some even voting until they were in three figures). It worked two years ago, so let's hope it works again.

I know some people won't be able to afford doing this, but the more votes Mario gets to win, the better.
