If i had to choose i would rather have it down during the day than in the evening

DS is by far the better place for a conversation. If possible, I think we should move forums (provided we can keep all the threads/posts intact), maybe this will be worth discussing.

DS fosters a sense of community.

If it's possible to move everything to a other forum than i think it's something worth talking about. Because i don't want to lose everything the has build.

I've just asked that same question to a group called the 'forumotion', hopefully it'll be possible.

I think a move would be good too but I deoubt the data is transferable...did you ask that forum that contacted you abou it, We shall have to speak to Snoop who might be surfacing soon...

Agreed. Too much effort has gone in to creating that data.

I dont really get the chance to get on the forum that much but it really would be a shame if you guys lost all your hard work on the forum there's so much on it.

My thoughts on moving:

The Connie forum has moved once already and it took them a long time to get their membership back up to what it was before the move. They also lost all the posts on the previous forum and had to start over completely. It is possible, and they got going again but it did take a while.

My first wish is for Lefora to sort itself out. It is really stupid to have these outages every single day, and if it keeps up we do seriously need to think about moving. If we can move the data and figure out a way to communicate to all of the lurkers, we might be able to make a move somewhat smoothly.

Another issue I have, though, is that the other forum formats are nice but I really like Lefora's, and I'm used to it. I'm up to learning a new one, though, if that's what we have to do. Let's give it a week or so and see if Lefora can sort itself out. In the meantime, we need to investigate the options and see if it is possible to move all of our data over if we move, so that if that does happen will we know what to do.

Only partially. I saw no new posts. Today has been a disaster for the forum really. Just the day when I get time to post.

Okay, we will wait a week. I hope at least that the forum will be online during the evening. It's already been a week now and it's really grown in to a problem. And they haven't shown any sign of being close to fixing the problem.
