If you guys did decide to move, could you not do it in stages?
Like put a message on the forum somewhere to explain that you are moving and leave that up for a while so as many lurkers as possible will see it, in the meantime maybe teams could start copying forum posts to the new location somehow in order to hold onto the good work.

I don't really know of this is an option but I've seen some of it done in IT. :s

OK, so I guess what's happening is that we're investigating the possibility of moving. In the meantime, Lefora has one week to sort itself out, and we will see what happens.

I don't want to move, because I like the format, but if this carries on we will have no choice.

We all need a bit of drama , we went 7 months without anything major so it was bound to happen eventually. It only happened because we are passionate about this thread

Well unfortunately the forum I contacted say it isn't possible to transfer lefora documents. So we'll have to hold through until they fix it. Unless someone else has an idea?

Basically, I agree partly with what was said - the thread has become slightly off topic, but lets not get into debates about it. This thread is exactly what it says it is - an 'appreciation' thread, therefore I think if people want to have chatty general conversations, which are great, its probably best to do that over Skype, or on the forum chatbox, as I like the fact the majority of us are 'friends' if that's what you want to call it I love this thread, it is the original home of the mafia and I love to read back over old posts to reminisce over what was said at particular times, so lets make it a special thread, one we can look back on and think - 'I know exactly why I posted that'

We have agreed to carry on as before, but with a government health warning against too much random chatter. The mods can't be overly concerned as they have warned other threads but not us.

Just a random point but the petition we set up has 156 signatures.

Do we think the battle to get OTR on DVD is over? Ill cancel the petition if it is.

I don't think we even knew what number to aim for. But 156 certainly fell short of any target.
