Songs that SHOULD have been number 1 this year!
IMO 2010 has pretty much been the worst years for number 1's since I have been into music. Loads of rubbish 1 week number ones which would not have had a chance a few years back. Which songs do you think should have made the number 1 spot, but didn't........
I'd say -Love The Way You Lie -Pack Up -Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart -Dancing On My Own -She Said -Hey, Soul Sister -Kickstarts Thoughts? |

I'm sure a lot of people will interpret this thread as 'choose your favourite songs of the year'
![]() Robyn - Dancing On My Own... definitely should of been Chase & Status - Let You Go... would of made an epic no.1 ![]() Sadly both of those artists aren't popuiar enough to the mainstream. Unfortunately that's what it's mostly about these days |

Gorillaz - On Melancholy Hill

Charice - Pyramid (Feat. Iyaz) should be #1 when it's finally released.

Yes, it says that a few people here like Ego. If enough people liked it, it would of reached higher than it did (#9 I think). The Saturdays are a massively commercial group and always in the public eye so no-one can blame lack of publicity or airplay as far as their songs are concerned.

Yeh there was X Factor, Rage agains't the campaign, and a couple of novelty xmas singles to compete with and plus people would have got albums for christmas anyway.
Its sales that matter not chart positions. A song that only got to number 4 could sell more copies over a longer time.than a song that got to number one. |
