Connecting a HDR to a DVD recorder
I have a HDR with one scart socket which I use to connect it to the TV.I want to connect a DVD recorder to the HDR to copy programs I want to keep by scart.
Is this possible? What do I need to buy? Thank you in advance for any advice Paul |

Most, if not all, decent DVD-Rs will have two SCART sockets.
So you just unplug your PVR from the telly, plug it into one SCART of the DVD-R and plug a second lead from the other DVD-R SCART to the telly. The DVD-R will pass through the PVR signal when in standby so you can still watch the PVR on the TV. And you just have to turn on the DVD-R to watch DVDs. And to record from PVR to DVD all you have to do is select the correct SCART input on the DVD and press RECORD then PLAY on the PVR. |
