How long should my touch battery work. Last night I charged it up and went to bed and accidentally fell asleep listening to an audiobook for 2 hours. Previous to that I had looked at the Internet and played a quick app! Usually it last 24 hours before it gets to 20% and that's with playing apps listening to music and watching something on iplayer facebook etc.
Should I be worried that the battery is going, only had the touch since Easter?

If I'm watching a lot of videos and using lots of apps sometimes mine only lasts a few hours.

You can buy unofficial "charging pods" (battery packs) from various websites. I know someone who has one and it works well - you just charge them up and it gives you up to 3 times the battery life.

But last night I didn't watch videos and it was completly dead when I woke up! As I said I usually get a good 24 hours with it dropping to 20% but only 9 hours!

Book an Apple Store appointment (hopefully you live near one) and bring your Touch to be looked at by a Genius. If they find something wrong with it then they will swop it with another one.

If you tell them everything you have told us then you will easily get a replacement.

Don't have a local apple store but I do have cover with currys for it. I will try it tonight and see if the same happens!

Go onto the Apple website or phone them and book your Touch in to get fixed. Apple will send you a box in the post and you just stick your iPod in it and send it off. Apple will send it back to you once its fixed, or they will just send you another one (which they usually do).

Curry's sold you a extended warranty, they will send your Touch to Apple anyway so your just as well cutting out the middle-man and send it to Apple yourself.
