Didn't expect such a boost for Ultimate BB - I think if they hold on tonight they'll keep them tomorrow too.

Me neither until I heard a few people at work today who hadn't watched a single second of BB this year ("who's John James?") actually had tuned in last night for UBB. Presumably a mixture of nostalgia and curiosity to see some of the old housemates living together.

Really healthy figure - hopefully it will remain steady now. Could see quite a boost for the final night - would be nice to see the show go out on a relative high.

C4's autumn schedule: http://www.channel4.com/pressandpublicity-autumn-2010/
Desperate Housewives fast tracked to October - thought that might be a candidate for a move to E4. True Blood in September and The Event in October too, with original dramas This is England '86, Any Human Heart, The Pullars of the Earth and The Promise.

And E4: http://www.channel4.com/programmes/t...e4-autumn-2010 - Inbetweeners and Misfits airing this autumn - no mention when Glee will return though. And Natalie Cassidy's show looks so out of place on the channel.

Very BBC Three.

Notable absentee there is The Million Pound Drop, which was set to return in October.

Talking of which a set is being built in Los Angeles now so it looks like Fox are committing to a series.

This is England '86 is getting a heck of a lot of promotion. Must have high hopes for that one.

Virtually every ad break isn't it?

Notice they've started promoting Derren Brown's new project too - anyone know what that's about?

If it's half as good as the film it should do well. C4 giving it a late night airing the night before at 11.10pm - should have given it at least a 10pm slot really.

Applause Store just having "coming soon" under MPD so I guess it will be back at some point. I hope C4 put it at 9pm this time. But Chris Moyles is also listed on there but not in the press release whilst another Channel 4 show called 'The Late List' is also listed

Quote:
“You are exclsuively invited to this fantastic, new daily topical comedy entertainment show presented by a mix of established and new talent!

Made up of a combination of celebrity guests and comedy VTs, The Late List will bring you everything you need to know about 'today' whether it's news, entertainment, sport or anything else that may prove a springboard to great comic material. Essentially, if it's not on The Late List, it's not worth knowing.”

It got a bit of interest whilst it was on- it looks like ITV have given the green light for another series of 3@three as tickets are also available for that.

This Is England will probably launch with about 4m but will tail off by the end of the series to around 2m. I don't think it should have been done as a 4 part series and after the original film was held in such high acclaim, inevitably they aren't going to match it especially with this series being centered by Lol and not Shaun.

The Late List is another attempt at the 11 o'clock Show. Drama though looking strong on C4 this autumn after a relatively weak line up last autumn.

Drama looks strong on Channel 4 especially with This is England and Any Human Heart as the latter has a strong cast. This is England is getting at 10pm slot but I imagine AHH and Pillars of the Earth will get 9pm slots.

I wish Channel 4 could do more series, Shameless is their only one and it's getting long in the tooth. They need a series similar to Teachers or No Angels or a crime drama that is different from what is on BBC One or ITV1.

That's quite a good E4 line-up. Looks like the 2 comedies will air September/October on Thursdays at 10pm and then Misfits will take the slot.

Glee should really be getting shown close to its US broadcast.

So, would this mean E4 will be one or two weeks behind the US this season (since E4 airs the episodes first)? DH is premiering September 26 in the US.

www.barb.co.uk publishes a weekly top 10 for both and their respective +1s.

I assume C4 will split it into two seasons. It will no doubt still get a 'first look' on E4, but as many can't get E4 they wouldn't want to cheese off regular C4 viewers.

It'll be interesting to see how long The Event takes before:
a) moving to More4
or
b) moving to Sky

It will no doubt start off about four weeks behind the US, and catch up by Christmas.

It should then start again in Feb/Mar a few weeks behind and catch up by the end of the season in May.

E4 will I expect show it on Sunday and C4 on Wednesday as always.

I would have thought it's quite an expensive acquisition and would get showings on C4 and E4 or More4.

They would have an option for at least a couple of seasons (assuming it lasts that long).

Well they got The Good Wife last year, which was shafted to More4 after a few weeks.

I do hope it gets good ratings as in the US NBC need a good show with international appeal.

We watched it all the way through on C4 HD, it always had a first look on More4.

It was bought and promoted as a More4 show.

It may have been bought from the More4 budget, however the first trails were for it only on C4.
