Don't have the exact figure but Paul Millar's Digital Spy article notes that GoldenEye was the top multi-channel programme of the day with 764,000. Last week a repeat of The X Factor on ITV2 had 1.25m, followed by The Xtra Factor with 1.07m. Both must have experienced substantial losses!”

I'm going to hazard a guess that either the X Factor fans went out to enjoy the bank holiday sunshine...... or their satellite dishes blew away in the hurricane winds.

Super Sunday, 750k
The X Factor, 659k
The Xtra Factor, 508k

So, it isn't wrong - there's a top 50 multichannel list we receive which lists clearly the highest and lowest

Ouch at all 3... that's low. Any idea how MotoGP on BBC Three got on at 19:45?

And also, do you know what the F1 15-minute peak was, as I suspect it was much higher than the programme average.

Thanks Paul.

So X Factor's audience roughly halved on ITV2 in addition to the 1m+ drop we saw on ITV1.

How did Must Be The Music get on?

LOL, tell me about it. That northerly was a pain in the backside yesterday.

Ah you live in the same county as me. The wind was gusting at over 50mph. I stopped watching tv at some points and put my mp3 on. Can't have TV too loud as neighbours start banging on the wall.

Autumn has definitely arrived early I think. Good for the broadcasters!

I use to love that show, any idea why it was axed because reading that it did very well for ratings

A big increase for Summer Wine last night because it was the last ever episode.

Hey, BBC1, I've just had a great idea how you can boost the ratings of My Family!

and Waterloo Road
and Motorway Cops
and The One Show
and Weakest Link
and your entire crappy daytime line-up.

It's kind of testing the water I suppose, but unfortunately those ratings suggest follow up shows will end up either in off-peak or in dead slots against the soaps in primetime.

C4 though have done a pretty superb job with all three Paralympic shows over the weekend and their approach should hopefully pay-off come 2012. At the moment at least there just seems a freshness about it and a huge amount of respect in their coverage - unafraid to tackle the disabilities themselves without resorting to getting emotional or patronising about them.

EastEnders Omnibus: 1.4m (11.8%)”

Hollyoaks holding it's own ground head to head with Corrie there then, though like EastEnders I suppose it has a much more traditional omnibus audience. The Corrie omnibus is relatively new to ITV1.

Because there were no master bedrooms to snoop around and they couldn't watch posh people bidding for cracked vases in an auction hall.

Emmy winners: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/ustv/new...0-winners.html

Highlights are on tonight at 10pm on FIVE USA.

Glee, Mad Men and Modern Family were the 'big winners', Glee got 3 (nc. Best Direction), Mad Men got 2 (inc. Best Drama) and Modern Family got 3 (inc. Best Comedy).

Decent end for LOTSW, obviously moved so it didn't clash with Corrie. Bearing that increase in mind from the other episodes, I'd expect Heartbeat to bow out with around 6m in 2 weeks time. Interesting Heartbeat remained flat this week despite airing up against the last LOTSW. The Corrie lead in (albeit an awful one for Corrie!) seemed to balance it out.”

I don't think Channel 4's that bothered now that BB is in its dying days for them, even if ratings are up 400,000 on last year.

Should be interesting to see if the big names winning help the ratings this year.

Big night for FOX - not only is Glee on their network but their studio produces Modern Family as well.

Nope, yet another episode I've missed. I'm starting to get to the point of not caring now.

Is Corrie now officially back on Sundays now? I don't understand why they want to mess their viewers around by just plonking episodes where they feel like it.

Fox have confirmed Lie To Me will start its 3rd season in November. Sky1 are 'figuring it out' as to when it will premiere in the UK

Love it. Makes it sound like Sky1 has a really jam-packed schedule and they're struggling to fit it in. Pull the other one it's got bells on!

Excellent, thank you. Can I be cheeky and ask for one more? Last one I promise Paul but it will help me wrap up the DSRPG for the week.

The premiere of In Bruges on C4 on Saturday including +1?

AFAICT, no, it's not a regular part of the Sunday schedule. I think that the emphasis on "we must show 'n' episodes every week, regardless of where we put them" is really counter-productive. I suppose with the live episode scheduled for a particular day, they're constrained at the moment. But, surely, after that, they can just skip an episode when force to by other scheduling requirements. Mind you, that would probably generate just as many complaints!

Nothing wrong with it, just a bit long winded.
