With autumn television upon us, I've borrowed the Ratings Thread crystal ball to look forward to some "potential" autumn highlights for 2011...

GMTV: (ITV1): Time to welcome back some old friends at breakfast time, together with new hosts Jason Manford and Alex Jones.

Loose Women... and a Man: (ITV1): Join Lynda Bellingham, Carol McGiffin, Christine Lampard... and Adrian Chiles for lively discussion every weekday lunchtime.

All New, Super Duper, All Singing, All Dancing Who Wants to Be A Millionaire?: (ITV1): Join Chris Tarrant as another bunch of hopeful contestants fail to win a million.

Re-Born in the USA : (ITV1): An old favourite returns to ITV1, following Shayne Ward, Leona Lewis, and other X Factor winners as they attempt to find success the second (or first!) time around.

Poirot: (ITV1): Following the inspired re-casting of the lead role in Marple, we welcome back the detective genius of Poirot, starring Ross Kemp in the lead role.

Stephen Tomkinson's Azerbaijan Balloon Adventure: (ITV1): Does what it says on the tin.

The Only MP in the Village?: (C4): Political drama, starring Matt Lucas.

Well its about 2.5m off that territory George - so you can stop that foaming at the mouth.

A person who has been reading this thread for as long as you have should realise that its due to the Blair interview over on BBC Two, and when was the last time ITV-1 got a 17.9% share against a programme averaging 34.7% over the same slot?

I would pay good money to see this.

Decent night all round, The Tony Blair interview dented The One Show and Channel 4, would be interesting how it would have on in a primetime slot. BBC Two had a great night with Coast and Alex Higgins, surprised BBC One hasn't tried taking Coast ike they have with other BBC Two. NCIS repeats really well for Five doing the same ratings as a new episode got a few months back.

Joe Maddison's War like Albert's Memorial is proably being shown now to coonicide with the 70th anniversary of The Battle of Britain.

Will be interesting how Bouquet of Barbed Wire does especially as the original was a success and it's got a great cast and I think the next Monday Night Thriller will be either Whitechapel or DCI Banks.

You haven't annoyed me. Your passion for EastEnders is endearing if anything and completely harmless. And the banter is all good as far as I'm concerned.

Who was it? I've seen a couple on there before.

Sadly won't happen after next week since SkyNews.com has been axed.

1) The Blair interview was less popular than the show in the 7pm slot last Wednesday on BBC2

2) The Blair interview took viewers from Ch4 News

3) Monday @ 8pm?

1) 1.69m v 1.78m for Blair, so not quite... Also Blair averaged c.8% for the first half hour, Gorilla had just a 6% share over that period last week...

2) Arguabley it took some viewers from both

3) 17.34% - almost, but not quite...

Let's see if it bounces back tonight eh, before we go and claim its flopping...

So Spooks is back on BBC ONE in two weeks time.
I am assuming it will play on a Monday night which will harm any new drama ITV may attempt to launch.

I'd ignore George if i were you Matt, this is the game he likes to play every few months:yawn:

If you go back to the ratings thread in the summer of 08 and 09, even a few months ago he says the same things over and over again and how its flopping:sleep:
