Week Ending Sunday 5th September
Cable Scripted Programs With Ratings > 1.0 (A18-49)
1. Camp Rock 2 (Disney) – 7.96m (1.5)
2. Covert Affairs (USA) – 5.26m (1.5)

9. Meet The Browns (TBS) – 2.39m (1.0)
10. Meet The Browns (TBS) – 2.32m (1.0)
Slower week on the scripted front. HBO's Sunday trio took the weekend off for Labo(u)r Day and USA's Thursday block wrapped up 2 weeks ago. That left the door open for Disney's Camp Rock to top cable viewing.
However, it's slightly disappointing rating, IMO. Last summer's original movies were Wizards of Waverly Place and Princess Protection Programme which had 11.4m and 8.5m respectively. This was a much hyped sequel (the first had 8.9m) with some of Disney's biggest stars. The highest Disney original movie remains High School Musical 2 - 17.2m in 2007.

MTV claimed the #1 show in adults 18-49 on ALL US television last week. It was 10% ahead of America's Got Talent. MTV again had 3 shows with 1.0 or more. The 11pm Aftershow for Jersey Shore is also doing well with more than 4m viewers. MTV was 3rd among cable channels (behind ESPN & USA) in the key demo.
