Just one more thing. Running out of words isnt all bad. Michael Stipe once competed to get more "yeahs" in a song than Kurt Cobain, and we got Man On The Moon, which the following is not.

G'night all.

Which video? The "Say you love me"?

For the twitcam, see Shabby's tweets, or RednPinkmusic's. (It's still there to watch.)

Doesn't look like the Bristol gig is happening (because S & Co are too busy elsewhere).

In which Shabby and Red sing a little bit, but not as much as S rolls on the floor in despair because her hair looks like Justin Bieber's. Have still yet to hear a syllable of his music btw. It has become a source of pride, like the fact that I have never watched a soap opera.

I know. Who would have thought?

Headless Prom Queens one.

Now definitely off, so I hope no one has made arrangements to travel there from Argentina.

Swans now...they can break your wing with their arm you know...Something like that.

Have never seen that Springsteen/ Michael Stipe song before. Love it. I used to have a medium sized crush on Bruce Springsteen and I'm not sure I didn't have a little one on Michael Stipe once as well so my brain might have melted if I had ever seen them together.

I prefer Patti Smith's version.

I think my favourite at the moment is Natalie Merchant's version. My least favourite, as it goes, is Springsteen's own.

Oooh, Natalie M. I was quite a fan of 10,000 Ms, when she was one of them.

I need to try harder to get into them. Stipe had a thing with her. Lucky swine.

Yes. Well. That was another kind of crush.

I didn't even know Michael Stipe had things with anyone. He always seemed otherworldly. I see that he has described his sexual orientation as 'indecipherable' and himself as 'queer but not gay', the tease. Peter Gabriel seems to be in the general musical circle somewhere, and I love him, though not in a crush way. I am literally the only person on Planet Earth whose favourite Springsteen song is Ghost of Tom Joad. I must have played it a thousand times. Edit: Scared now to find that Rage Against the Machine have recorded it. Having a stiff drink in readiness...

On a completely different topic, final audition for the Lucozade ads tomorrow. Not sure if it is now between VH and someone else or VH and back-to-the-drawing-board; either way I hope they do it.

Yes good luck to VH!

I must admit I'm not that into Springsteen either, I should try.

Yes Stipe's an awkward beggar. He said something like he about 80% for men. I don't really understand the preference for "Queer" over any other term.

Just finished watching Orphan, now I'm moving on to Zodiac. This can't be healthy.

Ah, he was a god back in the day. Possibly because (I was a very nerdy young thing) a Springsteen gig near Barcelona was the only time in my life I have been utterly off my head on anything more exciting than Strongbow. I would like to apologise right now to my then boyfriend, whom I have understandably not seen since.

Rage Against the Machine's Ghost of Tom Joad was horrible btw. I would rather hear a pierrot try it on the piano accordian.

Hmm. From the twitcam, it seems she's not blacklisted at Diva. And that there may be a mini-tour, VH w/ R&P.

And Shabby a judge at something "L talent"?

Why's Shabby have such a problem with her hair anyway?
Jo Kerr
23-05-2011
Um...it does look a little Bieber-ish. But she looks better with it than he does.

No idea if I've heard him so I guess I can say I haven't consciously or deliberately heard him.

Am indeed slightly worried that i know what his hair is like.

L talent .

Heaven only knows what that tweet about S being blacklisted by Diva meant. Since she obviously isn't we need never know.

Not for the first time I was amused that Shabby is the daughter of a hairdresser, since her own approach to hairdressing seems to be to hack random chunks off from time to time then express despair at the result. I did think that Red's hair looked very nice on the Twitcam.

Nothing to do with anything, but I was looking through an ancient thread and found BB6 Lesley saying, "I'm from the hood as well - I'm from Hoodersfield".

I just happened to see a picture of Justin Bieber (article), and Shabby's hair doesn't look anything like his.

Ah, I realize that it is a source of deep shame that I know this, but there was no end of a fuss a few weeks ago when Justin Bieber had his hair cut.

Then he has saved Shabby the trouble of re-cutting hers to look different.

I don't think her haircut shouts "Justin" or "Bieber" to anyone but herself.

(Well except perhaps to the person that mentioned it during the twitcam), nope, not AT ALL!

I'm very much a fan of the swept to the side look

All good. A pedant writes: I am having trouble allocating the chipmunks though. If Pyro is the slightly darker one and Naj has the glasses, that leaves Liz to have the mane of blonde hair. Actually that chipmunk looks more like Diana Dors, and I'm not sure she was ever in Voodhoo Hussy, unless in an early incarnation.
