I'm not sure there was anything in Shabby gesturing ayt her wristbands unless its them shes trying to make a point about. I dont know what any of them represent though if anything.

Ooh, Shabby just looked right at me teehehe...*

*I'm watching it on Sky+, just in case anyone thinks theyre missing anything.

I...see...

Well, I'll hang around here for a bit at least I think but I shall be paying very little attention to UBB.

Voodoo Child was at the final. Here are the Shabby parts of his account:

Steve & Rachel: Cheers
Ben: Cheers
Ife & Govan: Booes
Rachael & Nathan: 70/30 Booes.
Sunshine and Jo: 60/40 Booes.
Keeley & Laura: Booes.
Shabby & Caiohme: 80% Cheers.
Sam: Cheers.
Corin: Cheers.
John James: Cheers.

Loved universally by the crowd, the randy mare came out to one of the best BB receptions I have ever heard. She is beautiful in the flesh and her dress was lovely. John James shed a few tears when she won and all the housemates were on their feet cheering and chanting “Josie! Josie!” with us all. Shabby and Govan in particular seemed really into it.

Are you not keen on the UBB HMs Jo?

Thanks.

I have a recording that should be of Big Mouth. Seems it might be worth watching for the Shabby glimpses.

I just read that thread Veri, but I have no idea how to teleport a post from one thread to another.

Great, we made it to part two on the final day of BB11, how auspicious! ”

It used to be that if you clicked on the post's button for multi-quoting and then used "Add Reply" in another thread, it would ask you if you wanted to include the selected post.

But that doesn't happen any more, so I have to start a reply to quote the post in its own thread, pick up the quote with my mouse, cut, then paste it the reply area in this thread.

Not really. And i dont mean to sound snotty or anything as ive enjoyed my time on the forum, but as ive said before i only paid attention this year for ol' times sake and then Shabby happenned (for which I'll never forgive her ).

I would have watched it anyway to some extent, but not as much, and i wouldnt have been here, as it was research on Shabby and the Oubliette etc that brought me here.

I'll keep my ear to the ground a bit (in case shabby goes in for a task or summat but i dunno when she goes to Ireland), its just i wont be as full on as i have been for the last 10 weeks or so.

Thanks for explaining Veri, pity the first option doesn't work any more sounds simple enough, even I could have done it.

So we've got Shabby to thank for you joining us - now you're here you're going to stay, aren't you? I like your posts, you make me smile.

Awww, shucks! And people like you are why I've enjoyed being here. I've spent way too much time on fora in the past, but none like this one.

No one in real life is ever that nice about me

So people not really knowing you can have its advantages

And yes, all thanks go to Shabby.

I think maybe she intended her eyeliner to be a bit smudged as it was still like that on BBLB.

since she walked so long ago I'd almost forgotten what DS was like with regards to Shabby, got a not very nice reminder in that thread about Shabby and Nikki though:

Quote:
“Shabby was just trying to get air-time.”

Quote:
“What we heard were the last few desperate lies of a wannabe z Lister.

Bye bye Scabby”

Quote:
“Shabby looked like she forgot what soap and water is.”

Quote:
“Yes, she seemed to be existing on a seperate planet to everyone else. Just a desperate attempt to get air time, and it truly wasn't funny.”

absolute bollocks, the lot of it

I wish she had won the show, but trying to defend her for that long would have been so tiring

I could defend her all day - her haters all seem to have one thing in common and that's a tendency to make completely unfounded statements and then to try to back them up with pathetically weak arguments.

that's why it's tiring though, you just can't win even if the points you make are so obviously fair and valid compared to crap ones

I think they'll get bored of it now anyway. Gutted she's not going back in but quite happy about Nadia.

Tried to post this yesterday : Shabby gets mentioned in Emma Willis's discussion of who should go back in.

http://bb-cache.channel4.com/bigbrot...-house/play.c4

Such a different attitude on the main bb site - looking at the comments there's been so much support for Shabby.

It's the sort of thread best ignored, imo. I think there's been an element of homophobia in some of the posts that say or imply she's "dirty", and in some other even worse posts.

On a lighter note, the person in the Freederm ad after the "I <3 Day 19" (Ben shaving) part of BB's Big Mouth was dressed like like Shabby (glasses and Russian hat) and even looked a bit like her.

And, btw, did any of you notice the E4 ad that appeared from time to time throughout bb11 that said "Nerds, improve your shabby love life ..."

Hello dear people and nice shiny new thread. For the second time this summer I have managed to be away in a place with no tv, so I obviously have a death wish where watching BB is concerned. Last night I was forced to walk to a pub and crane my neck trying desperately to watch the final on a tv that was bafflingly almost out of sight behind the bar. Did not see S at all, but might watch bits on 4od.

Have enjoyed catching up with the appreciation thread, even though there is no actual news (unless you count S and Keeva getting drunk as news). Sorry at reports that the main forum have been as hostile as ever - it really is Spot the Brain Cell in there sometimes.

Back next week and will watch the rest of UBB, though no one I feel particularly fond of is in it.

In the meantime, will keep checking here for any news or views from people with actual taste and intelligence.

Welcome back, Wonk, to our sparkling thread.

We've missed you.

...

This video was spotted by Sarah Simons on We <3 Shabby: Shabby & Keeva - Shabby Original.wmv.

Very good. Guess who's singing.

(The &fmt=18 in the URL gets the .mp4 version.)

Spoiler
I didn't recognise the song, But I noticed something in the lyrics that I remembered thinking was possibly a T. S. Elliott allusion / quote / ref when I first heard it. Three s to anyone who can spot the line I thought was a ref. Possibly helpful remark: It's not an exact TSE quote. And there's a hint in next spoiler, if anyone wants to play this game.
