BT and contracts
I'm currently with BT and I have the Anytime package that I no longer require. If I cancel the package does that put me back under contract for another 12months?
I may need to cancel the line and move to Virgin if my line starts to play up again so I don't want to be tied to contract. |

The Anytime Plan is usually for 12 months, or you may be on a renewable 12 months contract. If you look at page3 or 4 of your bill, entitled "how we worked out your bill" it may tell you if you have an auto renewal or not.
If you are in term with your plan it will cos £8 per month for every month left in the term if you do cancel or downgrade. If you downgrade out of term there will be no new minimum term entered in to unless you opt for a special offer. |

If you can get Virgin where you are there's no reason to be with BT at all. Phone and Broadband is cheaper and far superior. I wish I was in a cabled area let me tell you!
