Favourite Grammy Performances
What have been your favourite ever grammy performances?
Mine are: Eminem and Elton - Stan http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZY2p7oE7Bpw Alanis Morissette - You Oughta Know http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7EPLb4KYpck Mary J Blige - No More Drama (proving she is a better vocalist than Beyonce and Alicia Keys imo) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a_LSH...eature=related MIA, TI, Kanye, Lil Wayne and Jay Z - Swagga Like Us (not bad seeing as MIA was nine months pregnant and performing on her due date) http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x8b...-like-us_music I'll post more if I think of them

Madonna AND Gorillaz!(2006) just love it, so very clever
it had not only Gorillaz in their first televised live set but then a computerized Madonna to make it more intricate and the WHAM Hung Up! just gets me up into a full on groove, it's an amazing set! and an amazing era too.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tlKqu322eJc AMAZING! Madonna's 1999 performance of Nothing Really Matters was really great also considering it had last minute planning with that eerie setting and Geisha theme which i love. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Esl2DPhlCjk i also love Britney's 2000 performance of From The Bottom of My Broken Heart/Baby One More Time with a fantasy like set with amazing scenery and costumes and her beautiful voice, then a very Wizard of Oz type army setting very good! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jUwBp1Dl2GM |

Dixie Chicks-Not Ready To Make Nice was the first thing that sprung to mind. I more often remember VMA performances than Grammy. |

I don't usually watch the Grammys but I've seen Eminem and Elton John sing Stan which was amazing.
Beyonces performance of 'If I Were a Boy/You Oughta Know' was kick ass |

Lady Gaga & Elton John - Poker Face/Speechless/Your Song Not her best, but it's still great. She looks so happy at the end.
Christina Aguilera - Mans World Soul power. Christina Aguilera, Pink, Lil Kim, Mya, Missy Elliot, Patti Labelle - Lady Marmalade Bit sloppy in places though, the sound especially and Patti's wardrobe malfunction. Alanis Morisette - You Oughta Know Flawless vocal performance. I love the visuals of Pink's 2010 performance. If the song itself matched up to it, then it would have been such an epic performance. |

The Dixie Chick's one is great and an important one too because of all the drama that they'd been having.
My personal favourite would be American Idiot by Green Day. I just think they totally rocked it! I believe it was rated the best Grammy Moment too, or something similar? |
