Thank you Kaycee. I read so many negative comments about DWTS and I think it is because people expect it to be an exact copy of SCD to have any value. I don't think it was ever the intention of DWTS to copy SCD but instead appeal to a different audience and just do its own thing. I agree there are a lot tricks and gimmicks and it is fast and slick but there have been some fabulous dances in the mix. There have been celeb journeys worth following. When you listen to the hootin' and hollering in the audience you can feel the excitement.

I hate to say it, but sadly I think there is a huge element in the UK that feels if something is done differently to what they are used to then it has to be bad/wrong.
I like both shows equally; they both have strengths and weaknesses, but then don't most things?

The only thing I'm really not so keen on, is that they are both on at the same time. Mind you, even that has its upside in that it can be funny watching dear old Len get grumpier and grumpier, anddaft old Bruno getting more and more stupid as jet lag and tiredness affects them both

'Grumpy' and 'Dafty' ; sounds like names from the seven dwarfs!
Thanks for the info..........love DWTS even thought I almost never know who anyone is bar a couple of international stars generally. Much as I love Derek Hough I would like to see him with someone other than young and glamourous

I'd love to see Derek or Mark Ballas cross the pond sometime and take part in Strictly.

I can't find any scheduling information on the Watch site. Does anyone know how long each show is? Will they show the results on the same night? Any scheduling info at all would be gratefully received.
Saw an advert today saying that DWTS starts this Thursday @ 9pm and acc to Sky + it is also on Friday as well. The following week it is on Thursday as well acc to Radio times
It is probably so it wouldn't clash with Strictly when it is on Friday 1st October.
