I have a kdl-32ex503 with Sky HD connected via HDMI1. The problem is that I am unable to see the picture menu (or any other menu) to change settings when viewing Sky via HDMI1. The only way I can change picture settings for the Sky HDMI1 input is to switch the Sky box off and keep the TV on the HDMI1 input. The menus will then display fine. Anyone know a way of getting around this?

It might be worth looking at the Sony web site as it is possible to download the latest firmware for this TV from there onto a USB stick.

Known issue - the solution seems to be to turn off "Control for HDMI" - Home->Settings->Extrnal Inputs->HDMI Setup.

Doesn't happen to me but I have a HDMI splitter which seems to prevent the issue.

It's the Sky box upsetting the CEC (HDMI control), so as already suggested, turn HDMI control OFF in the TV's setup menu.
