Humax Foxsat PVR Display Problem?
If this has been asked before I apologise - I've tried searching but couldn't find anything.
![]() When I switch the tuner off the blue LED turns to red, but, the display continues to display the time - rather than 'turing blank' as before. I don't have any recordings 'about to happen', can anyone enlighten me as to why this has suddenly started to happen (as of yesterday evening) ![]() Thanks |

It could be that you've changed the 'power saving in standby' setting to off.
Menu > settings > other > power saving in standby. |

Any recordings due to start within the next 15 minutes?
BTW I subdued the overbright front panel display by cutting out a piece of a transparent blue plastic folder, folding in two, and trapping it behind the front flap. |

This could be due to your setting for Power Saving in Standby. This is set to On by default, but if it has been changed to Off the time will be shown when the box is in Standby. To check, press Menu, then select Settings, Other, Power Savings in Standby. If this is set to to Off, change to On and the clock should no longer be shown.

Thanks for all your replies, unfortunately it wasn't due to any of them!
I used the IT technicians "turn it off, then turn it on again" approach - and it worked! All is well
