I'll be happy to beat Woking again in the next round, it'll be eight years to the day almost
![]() ![]() I just hope if we do get through the next round, that we get a home match in 4th round, or one that's within an hour of us, I've got a birthday meal to go to for Geoff Chappple's daughter straight after, and would have to miss a game for first time in years if it was something like Gateshead away! ![]() It's already bad enough that Lewes away could get moved from a Saturday, the greatest away game ever |

We had a great win at Boston. Wembley here we come (or wherever the final is).
Congrats! I believe it's at the City of Manchester Stadium. |

Very sad news. A big blow to Corby too, as he was their main backer.
Elsewhere Atherstone are resigning from the Southern League Midlands at the end of the current campaign as they can't sustain football at that level. At least they aren't overspending chasing the dream. They look set to return to the Midland Alliance next season. Thurrocks young boss has quit after the 6-1 drubbing at Chelmsford and 7-2 home mauling against Dover in Conf Sth proved too much for him. Big trouble at a couple of ex league clubs struggling to escape the Conference... Wrexhams owners have transferred the stadium to a holding company to rent it back. We all know how these things end up.... Cambridge Utd are also struggling with money. 5 points deductions for Histon and Kidderminster for financial irregs. The other Cambridge club, City, look set to be kicked out of their ground at the end of the season. Tragic for the Southern Prem title chasers.Grays v Tilbury was a right messy one last week in Ryman Div 1 Nth, a big local derby and their first for 25 years. Horrendous violence there, along with the Conf Nth game between Telford and Nuneaton. |

The Conference have ruled that Luton season ticket holders like me have to pay to watch The Luton-York match tonight.
Have the Conference ever done this before? |

We'll probably play our youngsters like we have in the previous rounds as the League is a lot more important.
Also how many fans do you think you'll bring considering that the game's on a friday night. It will be alot more on a Sunday than on a Friday! |

Apparently it was due to Luton and York failing to reacfh an agreement on ticket arrangements. The rule is that if they can't agree, the FA Cup system is implemented. Luton are appealing. More here.

With apologies to our Barrow supporting fellow non leaguer, I am absolutely chuffed with our display last night and glad we took our form from the Trophy into the league and have pulled 5 points clear of the drop zone.
Back to Trophy action on Saturday, but we do have games in hand on the other teams around us. Confident of not avoiding relegation on the last day of the season, but more not being in the fight at all come March (hopefully). Of course, we need to get something from those games. As long as we can keep this form going and the form of a mere two weeks ago. That said, whereas the likes of Jon Shaw and Nathan Fisher are playing brilliantly, the loanees have certainly made a difference. |

We beat York 5-0 last night, even though they didn't have a proper goalkeeper playing after Ingham got sent off it was a good performance by the boys and Owusu looked like a great signing. Hopefully we can carry it on and Crawley lose some games. |

So, we've appointed Garry Hill as manager, mixed reaction from the fans!

2 1/2 hours to get to Weston-super-Mare today, arrive at 1:30pm, refs doing pitch inspection, 5 minutes later... Game's off lads!
What a wasted day, couldn't even get home to see the Reserves, game really should have been called off much earlier, and there's even talk that the pitch would have been playable by kick off |

Have to say I was relieved with the 2-2 draw yesterday.
Unbeaten in 5 now, have to reiterate about the loanees doing a fantastic job also hope we can tie Deasy down to a contract. |
