They are but Stockport got a crowd of 6,000 the other day for a relegation battle. Grimsby and Wrexham can't get that sort of crowd when they're competing at the right end of the division.

Surely if/when they go down they will get their act together and smash the Conference North in the same way Chester did this year.

If we are to stay in League 2 then I'd love both Mansfield and Kiddy to come up being local.

Particularly Kiddy as I've missed their food - best in football bar none.

What exactly should happen anyway to clubs going bankrupt and then reforming. The FA can't exactly stop reformed clubs being set up.

Top part time team in the Blue Square is Dartford. Currently 8th which is amazing considering this is thier 1st season in this division. They did the double over Luton as well.

I wasn't having a dig, it's just not right how some clubs are seen as the same having gone bust and bounced back to where they were before three years or so later.

Obviously Newport are an exception to this, it's taken them twenty years and two spells in exile to get back!

Stockport heading down.

Well done to Mansfield as they are going up to League Two next season after they won 1-0, Stockport are relegated to Blue Square North Division after Gateshead, Lincoln and Tamworth all won.

Gateshead in the 34,988 capacity Riverside play in-front of 532.

Hope they can get their stadium sorted.

I won't miss seeing Mansfield's style of 'football' next season nor their odious board.

It is sad to see Stockport go down, but their fans behaviour today was bang out of order.

We've let Nathan Fisher, Liam Henderson and Glenn Wilson go.

Sorry to see them leave, and wish them all the best.

Liam Henderson scored loads of goals for our Youth team but never made it.

Think we played too much long ball stuff to him because the lad was so tall..wasn't really his game and ofcourse the fans booed him as the poor chap wasn't the next Messi.

He was one of 7 that have been released.

For any Grimsby or Newport fans, their match is on S4C this weekend.

Wrexham through to the Play-off final after an impressive win.

Could it be a Welsh derby at Wembley?

If it is this will probably go down as the greatest season in Welsh football history, with Swansea winning the League Cup and Cardiff getting promoted to the PL.

And Gareth Bale PFA Player of the year?

Good luck to the Welsh at Wembley, I hope Wrexham do it as they are a proper club with good fans who have been shafted by bad owners in the past and are now fan owned. Doing it the right way unlike certain other recently promoted teams.

Gateshead sign former premiership player Josh Walker. We've got Whitley Bay away in a pre season friendly tonight as well.

This thread has been quiet for quite a while, how are your teams doing, or have we all gave up on football and started watching Big Brother?
