Congrats to Darlington 1883 on winning the Northern Premier League and gaining their 3rd promotion in 4 years

2 good semi finals in prospect this week in the play-offs

Blyth Spartans v Workington
Salford v Ashton United

http://www.evostikleague.co.uk/match...xtures/2016-04

]
Salford win 3-1 in Extra time and will play Workington in the final on Saturday

Workington won 4-3 at Blyth with a 90th minute winner

Sounds like a cracking game

I guess that not winning the league was considered a failure

Mind you, I think they may have had the biggest budget
He had a right old go at the players the other week it seems so all not well within the dressing room?

I'm pleased for the Darlington fans. After seeing their old club destroyed by a clueless idiot of an owner they deserve to see some success. I wouldn't bet against Darlington 1883 being in the football league in 5 years' time....after all AFC Wimbledon achieved it.

Grimsby 0-1 Braintree. Don't want Grimsby to bottle the play-offs again as I don't want to visit Braintree, Forest Green or Dover next season

The south coast trips are great away days.

They are but Dover is apparently a really small ground which is hard to get to

How would the attendance be at Wembley for a Forest Green v Braintree final?

In the National League North play-Offs - 2nd Leg

AFC Fylde 1 1 Harrogate Town

Aggregate Score: 2-1

North Ferriby Utd 3 0 Boston United

Aggregate Score: 3-2

Good effort from Ferriby to come from a 2 goal first leg deficit

Final is on Saturday with the winner getting promoted to the Conference National

North Ferriby United v AFC Łylde at 3pm

If Fylde win, they will be only one level below near neighbours Blackpool

Wouldn't of thought that 5 years ago

Congrats to North Ferriby United and Maidstone United who won their respected play off finals and gained promotion to the Conference National and one good season away from the Football League

Ferriby beat AFC Łylde 2-1 in Extra Time

Maidstone beat local rivals Ebbsfleet on penalties after drawing 2-2

Interestingly, as mentioned on the non league football show, Danny Kedwell missed the decisive penalty in the shoot out after scoring 2 penalties during regular play
(He also scored the penalty that got AFC Wimbledon promoted to the Football League as well)
3rd promotion in 4 years for the re-formed Maidstone

Best of Luck to both teams

Grimsby Town back in the Football League after beating Forest Green Rovers 3-1 in the National League Play-Off Final at Wembley. Well done to the Mariners.

Had one of the best days i have ever had at a football match yesterday. North Ferriby v Fylde was far from a classic but my goodness it was dramatic. Well done to The Villagers. Saw them win at Wembley last year and now promotion to the highest division they have ever been in. This for a village team, it is incredible

Facebook is enjoyable today and bring back some great memories.

It's two years since we got to Wembley. True, the result didn't go our way, but it was a fantastic day out.

There's a new comedy starting on the 24th May on Sky1 about a non league team called Rovers

The trailers look OK so may be worth a watch

Only just noticed this thread..... greeting from a Solihull Moors fan!
We have had an absolute dream of a season, and I dont think any of us at the Auto Tech actually quite believed what we have seen this season! Its been fantastic and one to remember!

Next season is going to be unknown territory for us, but I am confident Bignot will prepare the team to have another great season - we have also hired ex kiddi boss Gary Whild as Bignot's number 2. Good move and will bring great non league experience.

I dont think we have any local derby's next season either - I think Forest Green are the closest by about 80 odd miles!!!

We are still going to be a part time run club, but the powers that be are eager to get the club going full time sooner rather than later! Cannot wait for next season!!!

COME ON YOU MOORS!

Welcome

Was at your place in March when we sneaked a 2-1 win (FC United)

Nice and friendly welcome.

Good luck in the National

Welcome, and best of luck in the National. We, Eastbourne Boro had three entertaining seasons, and there was generally good craic with a lot of the visiting fans.
