DVD recorder has lost freeview
Hi
I have freeview on my dvd recorder, I'm always getting a message about it finding new channels and do I want to upgrade now in which case it will wipe all my recorded programmes - usually I click no, but at the weekend I wasn't concentrating and clicked yes. As soon as I did I realised what I'd done and cancelled but now my freeview has completely disappeared - nothing in the guide at all - any suggestions? |

What it probably means is that it will clear it's channel listings memory and a fresh channel rescan will find them all and any new channels. Is it a Panasonic DVDR by any chance?...if so that message can be turned off in the setup menu. You should always give the make and model no when asking for advice. |

erm no, I have no idea how to do that
You really need to know how to retune any Freeview product, constant retunes is a fact of live with Freeview - with probably four (or more) required during DSO. |
