The weather is dreary and uninspirational today. My bones tell me a thunderstorm in on the horizon.

But the world didn't end and we get to grump another day.

Really weird weather here too - rainy and stormy one minute, and glorious sunshine the next.

Not sure what we're going to do, as Batman's flying off early today, so the day feels very short. Might just slob.

Slobbing is good considering the tough times you're going through. You need to re-charge.

Wise words me@ ... here, we've been planting. It felt good. Windy but warm. Skies have been fab Some stunning sunsets with all this sun and cloud malarky going on. Could almost forget I've got a streaming cold

Pixie - I try to make the most of it as much as I can, though of course there are days when she's an arse on legs
We had to wait so long for her I'm acutely conscious of how lucky we are to have her

*soothing vibes for snowy*

((((bats))))) - hope you got your slobbing done!

Here it was a quiet morning and a busy afternoon, topped off with one of our traditional Sunday rows:
Him: "Why didn't you tell me that wasn't a bag of recyling *before* I threw it in the bin?"
Me: "I did, three weeks ago when you nearly threw it in the bin"
Him: "Why has it been there for over three weeks????"
Me: "Becasue I've been too busy doing everything else I need to do to sort through it. And anyway why were you cleaning shoes and listening to the football when you said you were going to cut the lawn?"
Him: "I *am* going to cut the lawn"
Me: "What - NOW???" *KA-BOOOOOOOOOOM*....

All done now, ready for another week! He *did* cut the lawn and Melony has been reassured that we're still best friends even when we shout at each other

Jings @Handymelon... your life is so brilliant. I can't help the smile when I read one of your posts. It is true life as it happens!

@Snowy Ghost. I just want to give you a big cuddle. I need a cuddle now and then and I think you do too

Mr. Home has started a fire in the microwave. The doghouse is occupied again.

Wow, we've an amazing storm going on here right now. The rain is really heavy and the wind really strong so it's like a horizontal wall of water moving past the windows. Big eek.

My car could do with a wash so it's all good, though...

I will. Hopefully Sad won't kill me.

The boy and I went to see Thor this afternoon (I really want to see Attack the Block but the time was all wrong). We're both really busy so it was a bit of a guilty pleasure. Complete bollox of course, but good fun.

Forgive senility if I've mentioned ATB before, I haven't seen it but a May Baby recommends it.

If only for the classic line:

Thor will be a DVD pleasure for us soon - as long as it's *good* bollox, who cares?

I fancy Attack the Block as well.

And after the successful babysitter experiment last week, we may actually get to see the last Harry potter film at the cinema, which would be a treat!

I can't believe it's Tuesday already. Not seen #1 Slavette since Saturday - she's at Big Ben's. Hardly seen #2 as she's working weird bloody shifts at the moment. #3 is settling down on the sofa and getting a cuppa as we are going to watch a film of her choice. Fingers crossed it's not a scarey one.
