@Handy Melon - We were on the Leeds Liverpool Canal and were near Skipton. We erm... sailed? Boated ? Sped along the canal at @2MPH from Barnoldswick to Skipton and back again. It was my birthday last Monday and Himself had booked a canal boat from Monday to Friday as a really brilliant Birthday Surprise for me. We loved it so much that we are going to do it again in September. I will make sure I have the factor 60 packed as the factor 30 didn't do it's job!

At the moment I'm really getting into Pop Star to Opera Star. Oh and as Sadperson said - at least you and Mr Melon are still managing to talk. Like Sadperson, Himself and I seemed to just sort of wave in passing for years life was so hectic and knackering when The Slavettes were younger.

Can't post without a grump so here goes - I am STILL the only person in our household who can fill, operate and empty the dishwasher!

Aye aye, goshie!
Fair to middling, thanks for asking.
How's your good self?

PQ - lovely country over there.
I'm Yorkie three ways - born in the North, teacher-trained in the West and live and work in the East of God's Own County - and I wondered how close you'd got!

Evening grumpsters.

Busy, busy here, at bat towers. Bit stressy too.

It's strangely quiet here this evening. The dogs are snoozing and not even snoring. Slavette #1 is at Big Ben's, #2 has her head in a book studying, #3 is watching Waterloo Road with her friend and Himself is covering a shift for his mate.

Grump for this evening - it's too bloody quiet and tranquil in our home today! I need noise and chaos!

Yay! Thanks to GOWs what joined in my CT thread in Chatter, including those with pom-poms. I've started another one, this time no maths needed.

Hello Grumpies!
I'm so sick of rain, rain and more rain. Not good for the old joints and my hair is growing in volume by the minute from al the humidity.

This is one thread I won't be joining due to my dys-number and math probem -exia that I have. (Can't remember the clinical name for it at the moment.)

I hope that all is well in GOWland and that the weekend being here brings some rest and relaxation for all.
