WTF is a gout stool???

I'd sort of forgotten about the new stool having moved on to jugs

It's some sort of stool from the Edwardian era where people had gammy legs, it folds down flat and has been re-upholstered by someone with good intentions. It's really comfy so this one is staying, just need some upholstery fabric now and I'm off.

Oooh, and a staple gun, but Mr P is insisting he doesn't require one for work so I'm off to ebay again

We have 6 stools now Thank heavens I've moved on to jugs.

Ooo, nice socks.
Wotchit you

When they took me in to hospital last week all I could think about (and tell the Dr) was that I had come out the house wearing socks with a hole in them I didn't seem to care that I was also wearing teddy bear slippers, just that I had a hole in one sock.

I was muttering to Mr P that my mum only used to check the knicker situation when we left the house, not whether we had holes in our socks

Once! Once I forgot to put my pants on and for the next 20 years, every time I left the house she shouted out "has everyone got their knickers on?"

I was going to say sexy socks but thought I might get.... told off

Nice stool. It would match our sitting room very well... if we had any room left

Thanks for the hugs Batty & all. I'm ok, just, well, you know.

Afternoon grumpies.

Mama woke me up with a phone call at 5.30am, so I've been up a while and now have a cracking headache. But it is Friday...

To not have a headache! I'm not even in the mood for PG... I must be ill.

We've got some people coming over tomorrow night and the plan was to do a major tidy today... but I couldn't be arsed.

I'm so apathetic sometimes.

Hahahahaha!

batty, there's nothing wrong in feeling apathetic when you've been woken up at sparrow's fart by a confuzzled Mama! (((headachey bat)))

I've had a very "ohforfuxake" sort of a day, but managed to keep all the plates spinning *and* keep my temper, so yay for me and here's to eating a pizza and seeing some decent telly.
Melony woke up at 6-30 this morning so I'm hoping we'll all get a bit of a lie-in tomorrow...

TFIF indeed

Just back from a much deserved shiatsu massage - this has been an utterly pants week all round and I feel another early night beckoning. Although a bottle of strawberry cider might help..

I can relate to being apathetic.... wasted most of the day on silly things and got nothing done.

Am so jealous of the shiatsu massage..... But good on you Sad to have one!

Me - had hair cut, caught up with a friend, took kids for a pizza.

Mrs P - sold a model aeroplane on ebay.

In other news, we're getting material for the gout stool tomorrow, and while Mrs P wanted me to get a staple gun with staples to do it with, what she's actually written on the list is "shotgun and bullets"...

My kind of gal!

We've been out on one of our massive 20+ mile bike rides again. It's bloody windy too!

So, although I'm knackered, I now need to motivate the boys to tidy up the house while I... err, prepare some food for tonight. I wonder if I could motivate them to do that too actually...

Still in pyjamas here and feel as though I have a hangover, which given that I didn't bother with the cider last night and had tea instead, doesn't seem fair

Tired

See, I'm torn here - I wanted a good result for KJ, honestly, but I have family loyalty to the Rams which goes back to the days when we had seats in the director's box, so.....
