I've come to have a grumble.

The Ryder cup is this weekend. My family are obsessed with it so it will be on all weekend. They were even watching the warm up show (probably not what it's called, I'm clueless when it comes to golf!), tonight. golf golf golf golf...that is all they go on about! It does my head in! They want it sky+d all day! (It starts at 7am tomorrow). It better not clash with my programs otherwise I'll scream!

So, you'll be seeing more of me on DS this weekend...Even though I spend most of my time on here already.

Damn Golf!

I hate it with a passion!

*goes for a lie down*

I can't argue with you - golf, especially as a spectator sport, doesn't work for me at all. Mind you, my boys are really into cars going round and round a track and that's just as bad.

my brother isn't into cars but he was watching it yesterday morning. Such an annoying noise first thing in the morning.

My dad loves it too, he watches F1 racing nearly every weekend during the season and if I happen to be watching TV when it comes on he'll take the remote and put the motor racing on

Never understood the joys of either golf or F1 on telly - specially the latter. Lots of nnnneeeoooowwww noises and not much else...

It's been a very annoying day today work-wise but I'm far too tired to go into detail; shall say more tomorrow.

((((((((Sad))))))) - enjoy your vino

I wonder how Sad's head is...

... and I'm looking forward to your grump handy.

I've a busy Friday ahead and wanted to get out for a bike ride before I start on stuff but it's beyond grim out there. I hate this time of the year for that reason. The sitting round the fire is lovely, as are long walks through misty fields wearing wellies and scarves (and other clothes too, obviously) but I hate the thought of proper outdoor exercise when it's like this. I suppose it's back to the squash and swimming routine...

Thank god for DS.

And yes, weather's truly the pits. We've got horizontal rain here.

My head was fine this morning, but I'm developing a headache right now which I think is probably withdrawal symptoms... I might self medicate further this evening once I've dropped madam off at her party

My Marketing Research lecturer was really annoying this week, she was being a bit too chirpy for my liking. She also has this annoying habit of handing out lollipops to the students It's really weird. One week she was pretending to cry during the lecture. How can a lecturer be so annoying?

And here's me wondering 'what's it like to be a bat'. Never thought of this one....

Morning everyone...

There's rain and there's jackdaws in the tree outside my window (dozens this year, driving me nuts), so I'm well grumpy.

I'm grumpy too Socha. The boy's away for a week and I'm really missing him already.

On the other hand, Batman's at home next week so we're planning a 'mini holiday' - a few day trips and lunches out, so I'm really looking forward to that... and maybe not so grumpy after all.

My ear was burning like mad last night, I woke up at 4am and the pain just wouldn't go away Had to take some painkillers for it. Suspect someone was talking or thinking about me
