What a bummer having to give up swimming Socha! It'll feel lonely in the pool tomorrow...

Great going on the booze front. I enjoy it too much to give it up completely but it is tempting sometimes. I'd save sooo much money.

... and you'd catch the flu so much less often!

We're running *very* late tonight, owing to M having a birrova bunged-up bum...
All clear now, but for about half an hour I thought we were going to have to get all mathematical and work it out with a pencil...

(sorry, TMI. Been a long day! )

or even work it out using logs.

That is also true...

No swimming for me this morning. My poor infected gum's not getting better so there's only one thing for it. I'm off to see my gorgeous dentist.

I love the way there's always a positive in your posts, no matter what.... Did you pick him for that reason btw? It's a good one on the one hand, but on the other...

I once had a crush on my former dentist and felt like such a fool every time I sat there with my mooth open, whilst trying to look charming despite that gurgling thing hanging from one side of my mouth and my tongue on the other side, trying to answer him. but yeah, at least it distracted me...

Having an interesting day so far. Had two hours of Marketing this morning and the lecturer gave us the grades for the assignments. My group got 70%
She wasn't handing out lollipops but she was handing out chocolate to the students. She was wearing a floaty summer dress and cardigan and I thought to myself "isn't it a bit cold to be wearing a summer dress?" The rest of us were there in winter hats and coats! The crazy woman must have been freezing in that dress! Then I realised that it's graduation week at my uni and she must have been wearing that dress because she had to go to a graduation ceremony afterwards. That's the only thing I can think of.

My old dentist retired, and this Adonis popped up in his place, so my conscience is clear... ish.

And yes, I do feel like a plonker when I'm sitting there with my gob wide open, resisting my natural instinct to flirt. It's bloody hard work.

I am now rattling with pain killers and antibiotics, and how's this for something positive - I'm on those ones that you're always told NEVER to drink with. But apparently you can. The only thing that happens is that the hangover is a monster, but you don't die or get really ill. But I'm not planning to test this out. It's just a nice to know...

When I was in Sheffield the time before last, I made a point of listening to that on my headphones while walking down the street.

Maybe that's why she wore one! I think she was wearing tights, I'm not really sure. She might have been wearing skin coloured tights but either way I thought it was a bit cold for her to be wearing one. Maybe the fact it was sunny probably motivated her to wear one.

She probably had thermals on underneath.

My head hurts and I can't even blame alcohol. Or wearing summer frocks, I had my thick trousers and a woolly cardie on today

I think I need sleep

No but my lecturer is! She seems to like acting weird. So far she has:

- Handed out lollipops and also embarrassed a visiting student by handing him a lollipop in one lecture
- Screamed her head off during a lecture, giving me earache
- Worn a floaty summer dress on a cold October morning
- Complained drinking more than one cup of coffee makes her hyper
- Tried to be chirpy all the time just to get answers out of us
- Sat beside me to talk when I had to ask her a question
- Pretended to cry because her book was out of print
- Handed out chocolate, and then halfway thru the second hour she tries to get answers out of us and she shouts "come on, give me the answer, I've a bar of chocolate here!"

There's probably more I've forgotten...

I love Heaven 17! But comrade, this is not the original backing singer?! This is a younger white version and there are no lines around her eyes! And she screeches

Here's the amazing Carol! Woof woof woof!
