The North's a bit cloudy...

But I had a fab swim - 60 lengths and I had the pool all to myself. Bliss.

Now, I have to write a snotty letter to a not a very nice man. I'm going to really enjoy it.

It's all go, innit snowy.

I still haven't written my letter, as my afternoon disappeared down the rabbit hole - yes, I've been talking to my mum. She's quite wobbly at the moment and is coming out with some pretty out there stuff. It also looks like if she needs to get back here, doing it on her own will be beyond her. Unfortunately me going to get her might not be the answer either, as she has to agree to get on the bloody plane, and she might have different ideas on the day. Oh, for a magic wand...

*passes magic wand to Batty*

I'm knackered. Really, really knackered and I don't really know why.

Probably my age...

.... possibly your insomnia? (((Sad)))

(((((((((batty))))))))) - I'm out of magic wands, but I can do virtual cake, virtual wine and very real vibes!

We've had Grown-Ups veg-out day - dropped Melony at the childminder's and made the most of it!

Pictures!

Morning grumpies... hope all is well in grumpyland with just enough little things to grump about....

Sun is out in Holland, so all is well at the moment.

Congratulations on buying Edgar Davids comrade! I always liked to watch him play as he's such a hard worker. Go Crystal Palace!

Same to you snowy.

Here, a typical Friday night is unfolding. Batman is playing his guitar (apparently we're about to be treated to a new song) and I've opened the PG. The two are, I promise, unrelated.

Yay! I like the hard work reputation.

One of our piggies has had an x-ray because he's losing weight. The vet fished something weird out of him, they are going to investigate it, it's that unusual.

Hope all goes well with the piggie investigations, KJ!

Here it's been an odd day - we were going to go to the seaside on the train, but due to a toddler poo emergency we missed the train! MAJOR grumping all round!

So we had a walk at a nature reserve instead, watched the dragonflies (who apparently go "grrrr..... neeeyowwwwww!" )and we're going to try for the beach again tomorrow...

Pooped. Wonder if the Melons made it to the beach today...

Here...shopping, haircuts, more shopping. Much taxi-ing. Hoovering of spiders from car. Feel like it's bedtime

I hope you managed to get a good night's sleep Sad.

Morning (just!).

We've had a lazy morning and are planning to make up for it by having an active afternoon. We'll see how that pans out in practice...

Tut, tut.

I don't. I'm drinking so much less of late... Most odd.

It really feels like Autumn's just around the corner. We went for a long walk in the woods, and collected some kindling, and I've made up the fireplaces so they're ready to go whenever we start to feel chilly... It'll be Christmas soon.

I've been watching Palace in a charity match.

There's one of those 'Grumpy Old ...' programs on telly at the moment. Media types flaunting their ignorance.

Our piggy boy is eating. He weighs 790g, his chum is ~1 kg.

Think we need something sooner than blasted Christmas to look forward to...

I have done loads of stuff around the house today and totally forgotten to get my project for work finished.

And I'm meant to be giving a presentation about it tomorrow. Shoot me now....

I brought my lappy back from work with me on Tuesday and haven't even got it out of the car boot. I'm crap...

We *did* get to the beach and it was fab. Done lots of house stuff today and am going to be very short on sleep for work tomorrow, but sod it.

Yay for munching piggie!
