Just a quick visit to wish you all a very merry christmas from the land downunder. Santa is definitely on his way as he's already been here! I must have been bad though - not that anyone would believe that, it would be totally out of character.

Hope you all are well and happy and have an excellent Christmas with your loved ones and that the New Year brings only good things to you all.

Merry Christmas!!!

Santa's been and I'm the only one awake! I might have to start walking around the house in a noisy fashion...

Season's greetings to grumpies, lurkers and poppers-in!

I'm home alone at the moment 'cos our lot have all gone out, I don't like to ask what they get up to.

You know you've reached your limit when you find yourself watching a programme about tv ads...

Hope everyone's had a fab day. Didn't start too great here but it was peaceful and calm in the end... and I'm just *ahem* clearing up the puddings. Well, it would be criminal to waste it all.

Any pud left?

We have eaten soooo much, and have done next to nothing. Even our walk yesterday was more of an attempt than the real thing.

We're now thinking that rampaging around the sales might be good exercise...

Oh dear. Lovely grub here, but Mrs and MsKJ like their choccy, so are practising a diet as regards not-choccy, whereas I prefer to line my arteries. Also, 'cos I can't lift anything heavy, I couldn't go on a beer mission as planned. Last can of beer now.

Still, Santa got me what I wanted, and I don't mean the Kindle. I can still see out of both eyes.

Woop woop, KJ! ((((((((((hug)))))))))))))
If you've no beer left, it's time to switch to wine...

We ate a huge meal really late last night and watched Christmas Dr Who. Blummin' brilliant!

Today has been mostly clearing up and going for a walk to try to work it off, somewhat ruined by the fact that we ended up at our favourite branch of Costa Coffee, eating lemon cake and drinking lattes and hot chocolate. Oops. Oh well...

Brilliant stuff KJ. But I wish I could cyber send a few beers across. Running out is the pits.

We're freshly returned from the sales and it was so, so quiet. Quiet roads and quiet shopping and quiet coffee shops bursting with cakes (including chocolate orange muffins... sorry KJ). We each got a bargain or two (it would've been rude not to buy something, given the general deadness of the place) and now we're back home watching Dr Who and getting gently pissed. I could not ask for much more really.

Well, I could but...

Thanks for the greetings Truth be told, I've always kept tabs on you lot

I have/had flu over Christmas - so its been all snotty and coughie! Xmas lunch was a rather lovely slice of grilled cheese on toast. Told LittlePlum that that is our new Xmas tradition as its far nicer than roast turkey We also had a little cyclone but slept right through it.

I wondered about you when I saw that on the news. Glad you're all okay Next year I might take up that excellent suggestion for the Christmas meal... it's all too stressful and expensive, and for what, really? Either that or we're eating out... my poor late mama used to curse having to cook every year and every year she swore she'd never do it again - which is why she usually came to us latterly - but I think it would be fitting to eat out for once, just because we bloody well can.

I love rose... it's sooooo drinkable
