Hey there Iggy Hope you get all the bangs you need this evening and beyond

I have very mixed feelings but all in all I think I will be glad to see the back of 2010. Got to keep looking forward...

Happy New Year everyone, just in case I don't make it on here later (((((((((((((GOW)))))))))))))))
May all your hopes for 2011 be realised.

I hope 2011's going well for the Plums!

We're staying put tonight, with a fondue and Monopoly. We like to live dangerously...

Oooh, me too - for some reason I'd got it into my head that Plummie was 24 hours ahead
Plumster, it's 12.10pm UK time on 31st Dec, here. What time is it where you are? x

In Queensland it's 10.23pm now. We're 10 hours ahead at the moment. We don't do daylight saving here in QLD so when you go to BST the difference is 9 hours.

It's probably because it takes about a day to get here.

I have started, it is dark, and I've made a chilli for tonight so am virtuous in the eyes of MrsKJ.

I think I am the ultimate nerd. I started doing a sudoku and thought I'd try writing a program to solve it. On my own time. It is currently stumped on the Grauniad 'hard' puzzle for today.

At the moment, in each cell, all it does is look at the rows, columns and 3x3 boxes that intersect each empty cell, and removes any numbers found in those rows/columns/boxes from consideration.

Do you have to make guesses at some stage?

I usually do

Going to wish everyone a Happy New Year while I'm still sober... we're off out shortly, now that we finally have some water, and can shower

May 2011 bring you better things than 2010 has done, and may all your hopes and dreams be fulfilled

((((GOW)))

A Happy and Healthy New Year everyone.

May the joys of 2010 be remembered and the sorrows become more bearable.

Who knows what 2011 will bring - but 'It's a new dawn, it's a new day and I'm feeling good.'

If ever there was a time for optimism it's the first minutes of the NEW Year.

Happy New Year all

So far the New Year has been mainly harmless in so far as I'm concerned anyway. Well.... apart from one poor mangled de-feathered deceased little bird which I found under my bed mid morning today. The finger of suspicion points firmly at the cat - but he has his innocent face on, so in the absence of any firm evidence I shall blame my OH, because that surely is what husbands are for (apologies to KJ ).

OH works today, so I'm having a quiet day mainly reading with occasional games of ping-pong! It's piddling with rain the upside of which is that at least it's cooler than it sometimes is.

Hope everyone had an excellent NYE and let the good times roll in 2011 !

Happy New Year!

Mine too snowy.

We had a vague plan to go to the sea side today but I've been reading in bed all morning and I'm now thinking that a long Lushy bath might be better. Slobby but nice.

This morning I prepped all the veg for a roast dinner a deux after LM went to bed - and then discovered the chicken's still frozen!

So roast dinner has been postponed till tomorrow lunchtime and we're having shop-bought lasagne instead. But with beer, so that's OK!

Hope everyone's head is better!

Belated New Year's Day greetings one and all. I have only one resolution this year - Declutter.

Had the family here all day for Young Sad's 18th... feeling a little fragile despite only having 2 glasses of wine last night ... going to have an early one once I've cleared up

Night all
