I was going to start dissing Tool Academy but as I haven't seen it yet I'd better wait with the wise cracks.
I could murder a glass of PG, and it's not even my fault. Within the last half hour, I had two different neighbours turn up asking to borrow booze. They've put the suggestion in my head... and I like how everyone heads here when they run out!

Morning/evening all 
Beautiful morning here. Bright blue skies and its about 27c - trouble is, its probably all down hill from here and it's going to heat up to be a stinker! On the plus side though the washing will be dry on the line probably by the time I've pegged it out! Assuming I do it of course - today might be a day for procrastination .... but then, isn't it every day!
Needing some good old GOW vibes again - m-i-l is off to the hospital this morning to see the specialist hoping that he can more accurately interpret the scan results from last week. Trouble is even if he says it might be operable now, they might not be able to operate because she has had a rotten week after the chemo and is back down to 42/43 kg. I'm not going up there today, my OH is though and 2 of his siblings. I'm not going though as his sister in particular has been a bit of a b**ch with snidey digs at me, so I'm not going to step into the firing line today, it wouldnt be fair on m-i-l, my OH or for that matter me. So head firmly below the parapet today. I feel bad though, I've been with her for just about every other appointment. Meh! It's a no win situation.
Only another week or so of the summer holidays and then LittlePlum is back into Grade 4! She's getting all grown up .... in terms of school age - fortunately, she is just as silly as ever. Don't know where she gets it from!

It's raining here in Amsterdam and I'm counting my blessings that nothing is floating down the street. It's hard to keep up with all the natural disasters happening all over the world at the moment. So sad...

I had an awful Heat addiction until I weaned myself off it and Hello/OK as well. It's been about 5 years now and it's "one week at a time".

I've had one of those days where I was trying to decide what to do and have spent all day on that decision. Now I don't have to do anything since it's nearly time for Mr. Home to be home so my "work" day is officially over.

I have to decorate a room tomorrow as we have a German exchange student arriving soon and the OH is still suffering the after effects of flu - fortunately it's only small and I can pay the younger one to help me - the eldest is at work anyway.
What happened to helping out for free? Still it will keep him out of mischief - and me !
