Such a long day working - but at least I can say it was productive.

KJ please tell me you and BG are not off on an Club 18-30 holiday.

Well, we're too young for Saga, so yes Iggy, we are.

handy - it was exhausting, as always. Her long term memory seems to be quite bad too, so I'm listening to a lot of stories that I know aren't true (I'm pretty sure she didn't marry my stepfather in 1956... I was at the wedding ). But one of the worst things about *it* is how unpredictable it is - she remembers some things but not others, so it's hard to know exactly the line to take. If she couldn't remember anything, I'd simply take over and make sure she was okay. As it is, I can only react to things going on and try to anticipate stuff. Like I said, it's exhausting.

I woke up in a pool of martini sick and BG is snoring face down with a drawing of a willy suntanned onto her back.

Which is great, 'cos we've been signed up to BBC Three.

I tell you what, it's the last time I'm going clubbing with KJ.

I'm heading over to ma's at some point this morning. I woke up thinking that now she's back I'm not checking her mail and if there's something there that needs dealing with she won't remember... I'm not quite sure what the solution is, beyond re-directing everything to my house, but she won't go for that anyway. There's nothing wrong with her memory, as she confidently told the doctor.

So, plan A is going over with cakes and having a sly hunt around for recent envelopes.
