Those free books on Kindle: dozens of 'em all like this (oo-er missus)

http://www.amazon.co.uk/City-of-Sin/...8328041&sr=1-6

Spoiler
Kelly Morgan takes her best friend Vince on a vacation to the City of Sin to recover from the breakup of his marriage. But sin, lust and alcohol don’t mix, especially when you’re sharing a room with a sexy, hard-muscled bodybuilder. One who dances part-time and has moves Kelly can only wonder about. One who shows a vast amount of tanned, smooth skin as he wanders around the motel room in briefs…and nothing else.

I really want a kindle. I really really want a kindle. I wasn't sure that I did - but now I am and no I havent been persuaded by KJs talk of free bodice rippers Although free books do appeal to me at the moment. I don't think I could give up totally on real books but some I read so quickly and I think I could stand getting them on kindle and just my epics in old-styleee-format. Only trouble is I can't afford a kindle at the moment and not for the forseeable future - but at least my mind is at rest now and I believe that e-books form part of my future, having been in denial for the last year or more

Hot day again today and loads to do, still job-hunting and at least now the job market is picking up a little bit, apparently it always does at this time of year after being dead in December/January. Keep those fingers crossed, I really need the good vibes!

Hope everyone is keeping well - Batty, I often think about your mum woes, just keep strong, keep your chin up and don't let it take over. You've got a lot of good stuff going on and when things look a bit bleak concentrate on the good stuff. It works for me

I'll write more soon but I just wanted to wibble on about my kindle dream I want one! Did I mention that?

I might get that KJ...

Yay Plumski (I'm heading East soon ) - the Kindle's the way to go. It saved my sanity on the last trip and I'm really looking forward to the travelling now that I know I've got 100s of books at my fingertips. I'll be posting from it too, of course.

I've just remembered a book I read at school set in Poland that I really enjoyed, The Endless Steppe. Strange how some things just randomly pop into ones head! I wonder if I would enjoy it as much if I read it now.... Thinking about it, a Kindle seems to me to be a dangerous thing, usually between me thinking I'd like to read a book and actually buying it, is I have to remember that book until the next time I go to a bookshop, whereas with kindle, I would imagine it's all to simple to get it there and then. I really must get a job! I feel like Yosser Hughes - gissa job! I need to fund my habit

I wonder if Bats fly over Amsterdam on their way to Warsaw?

Plum: I'm becoming Kindle-curious but I wonder if I would have trouble reaing from a small screen. I've had a bit of trouble with my eyes this year and haven't been able to for the very long stretches of time that I used to do. But like you, it's beyond my budget at the moment. Don't know if the free bodice-rippers will be an inducement though.

The sun's shining here today although it's a bit colder today. I see snow in the forecast for later in the week but I'm going to ignore that focus more on the signs of spring that are popping up here and there on trees and plants, etc.

I would suggest that the most direct route from oop north england to warsaw is via a compulsory stop over in Amsterdam accompanied by a mandatory kindle. I'm fairly certain that that is the law, and if it isn't, it should be .... and to cap it all, it's exactly what the doctor would order if he knew about it, and all we are doing is cutting out the middle man and saving NHS time by saving him the bother of ordering it! It all becomes very clear dontcha know

I think I've been accidentally inhaling secondary fumes, I feel ever so light-headed this evening .... which reminds me that I still owe you that email me@

Australasia is certainly suffering of late.

Latest is the New Zealand earthquake - 65 dead with the probability that the figure could rise.

It's almost like the Biblical plagues.

Safe journey BG and good to see you Laura. How are you?

That lecturer was watching me today again (only for a few minutes though!) I was sitting up the back and then she came in and said that people sitting in the last three rows (where I was sitting) had to move down to the back. I moved and I couldn't find a seat and then there was one on the side of the lecture hall. The lecturer saw me looking and I walked over and she joked "Don't worry, I won't bite!" I ended up near the front and I couldn't hide from her! She was also wearing a really low-cut dress which didn't seem to leave much to the imagination Not exactly what I wanted to see (the lads didn't mind though!)

I was down the eye clinic recently me@h, having my retinas looked at, and to do that they have to open up your irises with drops so they can look inside. This makes everything go blurry, so how cool was it to have my Kindle, 'cos you can change the font size from legible tiny to huge and anything in-between.

I think KJ himself ends up on most of our favourite lists

I have bookmarked the page for future perusal but I don't like reading at the pc for too long these days, the glare bugs me after a while and to be honest I associate reading with sitting all curled up in my chair in peace and quiet. I think the rest of the family will be very thankful of that because otherwise I would probably be hogging the pc! I will save my e-reading til my metaphorical ship comes in - luckily there is a port here so hopefully my ship will dock here .... knowing my luck it's still headed for the northern hemisphere - dóh!
