Let us know when you need extra vibes for the hospital LL. And I'd better keep pointing them Amica's way too. You can never have too many vibes!

Crikey. is the sunshine so unusual oop norf that they're all still in their gardens making the most of summer?

Darn sarf we're hiding from the sun and you can't buy factor 50 for love nor money. Bleached skulls in the reservoirs, hanging by garden hose ect.

I took the cat to the vet for his stitches out, and when I got home Mr M and melony were still at the park, so I had a blissful 45 mins of solitude before they returned, and then I've been doing baths and nit-combing and putting to bed and tea and checking that Mr M and I still had a few things in common.
Discovered that we both still like watching "Friends". Yup, we're a bit sad...

@Iggy: For lunch I made a chilli, chick peas and spinach curry, tonight I've got a vindaloo in the fridge, I have beer. Karma has made supporting Palace a rollercoaster, so I'm still grumpy.

@handy. Friends is classic telly. Phoebe reminds me of a grumpy we seldom see.

Some of us have been busy...

Shopping... for new light fittings and kitchen paint, and compost... putting up one of said light fittings has taken most of this evening but it's very pretty

Hadn't originally intended to spend such a lovely day wandering round DIY stores but on the plus side, we missed the bloody Grand National.

Ow! Pulled my back lifting shopping into the car not using approved H&S practices and procedures, daft mistake.

@iggy - That butternut squash one looks fab, we've got a few lying around, I don't know where they come from ...

My disgusting but fab discovery while shopping is a tub of the stuff they make chip shop chinese curry sauce from. It looks like brown marzipan in the tub, you mix it with water to taste. I'm deffo going to make it and have it with chips. If I can find a plastic tray and a wooden fork it will be perfect
