Game of Thrones? Isn't that the one where your house has two bathrooms but three of you have Montezuma's Revenge?

@BG - lateral thinking KJ half-arsed idea dept:

How about treating this as something you actively need help with, rather than the tacit assumption that it's your duty and sole obligation to do whatever it takes? Maybe there's some organisation that is geared up to help people in your situation?

As usual, sorry if that was Cap'n Obvious

I've been on the social services waiting list for a carer's assessment for a couple of weeks now, but it's a few months long, so who knows how things will be once they get together with me.

I'm playing mind games with myself and trying not to stress out too much, but it's tricky, as you guys can no doubt see. I'm not handling this very well at all. Give me something to do and I'll do it, but this situation is like trying to nail jelly to a wall.

But Game of Thornes was fab. So much of it just like I imagined, which is unusual. And it's a gorgeous day here again. I've got the boy to myself and we can do whatever we want. I might drag him off to the seaside later.

We went on a big bike ride instead and are probably going to do the same today. He'll be busy with his mates as of tomorrow so I'm making the most of it!

Sounds fab, batty - it's been the right weather for it!

We Went Into Pants today!

One big oops
Three nearly-did-it-but-dribbled-a-bits
Seven successes!

Hooray!

If it doesn't sound to trivial - vibes for continued success would be appreciated so that I can get off tenterhooks and stop asking "do you need a wee" every three seconds!

Thank you girls!

Made it up the village to the Post office and back, no accidents so far. Yay!

Unfortunately, the courier who was delivering the parcel of car-seat protector pads which I've been waiting for since Tuesday chose the 45 minutes when we were out to attempt delivery. So now I've got to with till next Tuesday or go the the bleeding depot on Saturday. Gah!

The big joke is I paid for a next day delivery which the couriers dispatched to Maidstone...

Handy - I hope you get your money back, or a re-dispatch. That's not on.

However, in the absence of the real mcoy, a towel over some plastic sheeting will do the job

@ batty
Your kind concern has been noted...

Sad, fear not, I got my postage and packing refunded on Wednesday morning. Useless barstewards!

Good news: Accidents 0, Successes 10!
God knows where she keeps all the wee, but she hasn't oopsied once all day!

(I once asked her, involuntarily in some astonisment at the size of the fecal mass she's just passed, where she kept all that poo. She turned upon me a gaze of azure innocence and answered, as if I had learning needs: "In my bottom, Mummy..." )

Hello Grumpies!

I've been having a bit of a flare-up so typing is painful at the moment. (so is just about everything else for that matter.)

I've been reading the thread though and my thoughts are with you all for various reasons and needs.

Poor me@h! ((((hug))))

We've had a sleepy but nice day - Mr M and I ended up discussing Big Stuff well into the wee small hours last night - nothing's wrong, don't worry, but we got onto the sort of things you can't talk about with Mrs Radar-Ears around and just sort of kept talking!

So everyone was late up, and I set Mr M and Melony to work decorating easter biscuits with a kit I bought from Morrison's while i did some clearing up in the kitchen, then we went to the supermarket for hot cross buns and PVA glue (not connected!) and on to the park for a play. Lovely. If we don't count all the arguments that have flared up all day because we're all worn out...

Not a single oopsie moment today, either. One or two frank dicscussions about not wanting a wee and then really really needing one urgently right now five seconds later, but I guess that's all part of the fun...

Looking at the time you posted last night/this morning I hope an early night is on the cards, HM ... hugs xxx

Here, the boyfriend has been put on the bus home and family life is returning for what passes for normal - for now... and I'm so tired I'm thinking an early night would be rather lovely
