Nicole Cutler's blog - she makes some excellent points about Lulu.

Heya everyone, thought I'd pop in, haven't been on these forums most of the year.

I don't like Lulu but I'm willing to give her a chance. I did laugh at her reaction to getting Brendan, but I also thought it was a little nasty. My reaction would be crying followed by fainting followed by more hysterics when I woke up . Loved how he just carried her up the stairs though! Hoping the best always want our Brendan to do well! And can't wait!!

Hope your all doing well .

Hello, everyone! Missed you all on here.

I missed most of last season, and I got back the week after B left the show, so didn't follow it after that.
Now I missed the first half of the intro show, but apparently something happened and I don't know what it is. I understand there was something weird between Brendan and Lulu, but from what I could see in the group dance they were quite chummy, so I don't really understand what's going on.

Good to be back and looking forward to chatting with everyone again. And here's hoping for a lot of Brendan gyrating on the dancefloor (with or without Lulu )

Still can't see that since the BBC won't allow me to view it from my geographical location

But good news that it seems to be going well.

This is such a weird 'waiting' period. You sort of want to get into the mood but since nothing much is happening it is hard to get started...

If anyone interested we have a twitter account set up to support Brendan in all his many ventures including Strictly. I was designated driver but as a technophobe am up for all offers of help/snippets of info on the great man.

It is called @DGSuperfans - a name which came about because one of the other fans christened him her Dance God! She has also created a Twibbon to support Brendan & Lulu in this years Strictly! Link to add that is on the account.

Hope some of you will come join us and offer help & support.

Thanks

I am actually going to miss friday's show. I have to work (and I sorta forgot that it was spread over two days so didn't ask my boss for the night off). I will watching on saturday and with the endless repeats I'm quite sure I'm not going to miss too much this early in the game

Just hoping there are plenty of pro dances or solo spots with Brendan & Natalie coming up this series,I'm also delighted that Watch are showing DWTS this time as I can get my fix of Maksim at the same time as Brendan!

It seems Brendan and Lulu are on Alan Titmarsh this afternoon:

Remember, Lulu & Brendan will be on The Alan Titchmarsh Show tomorrow on ITV/STV from 3-4pm! Tune in!

http://twitter.com/#!/thebrendan_cole

And, not so surpisingly, they appear to be getting on well. Lulu put a photo on twitter:

Glad they are getting on and I will support Brendan no matter what but I still can't warm to her(and believe me thats a restrained response)Still we can't like everyone he's paired with so grit the teeth and carry on and hope for a good year Hey I didn't like Kelly much at first but boy was she a good dancer

I don't really understand people's opinion of Lulu, but I'm saying that as someone who's only ever seen her sing with Take That, so I don't have much to go on

I'm just happy that eventhough B has an 'older' contestant she seems in good shape and willing to learn and at least she's got rhythm, so hoping for lots of him this season

As lovely as always. Has he lost some weight? I thought there was something different about him.

I think it was his hair he seems to have lightened it - still gorgeous though. Lulu wasn't good but the Cha Cha is a difficult dance to be fair - hope she improves or we will be only catching glimpses of Brendan this year

Haven't seen it, but it doesn't sound like Lulu pulled it out of the bag but Cha Cha in week 1 is a bit of a challenge so here's hoping!

I look forward to the repeat tomorrow (or tonight, depending what day you're reading this ).

Oh dear Brendan.... I thought like he was looking stressed and haggard - even thought his hair was looking a little lighter (ie greyer) - but then again the lighting was really bad .

I was there and I think its only a matter of time before for this pairing. They werent dancing as a team thats for sure.
