Read your summary on the other thread Sara, all I can say is oh dear poor Brendan.Sounds like you had a great night I'm very envious xx
So disappointed in Lulu's performance. I saw her a few years ago in Guys and Dolls, and, boy could she dance. She seemed to be all over the place with Brendan. Maybe he should take some responsibility for this. She was able to move well so how come they appeared on the show so unprepared. She will need to do better. Come on, Brendan!

Not even Brendan can make a silk purse from a sow's ear.

Very true. I just expected more of Lulu. Room for improvement.

Lulu's Cha Cha Cha was awful, but I keep watching it on yt because I'm suddenly very attracted to Brendan! He really is a fantastic Latin dancer.

Oh dear, just watched it on you tube, she seemed to have forgotten half the routine, ah well, maybe she'll get better next time.

Liked B's new look. Don't think he's gotten grey yet, but it did look like his hair had a few highlights or something. Did anyone notice him misstepping down the stairs on saturday and acting as if nothing had happened Loved his face!

I felt sorry for Lulu but was kind of proud in a way that she just carried on even though she'd forgotten. I really wanted to hide behind my pillow when I realized it was all going wrong but I think they've taken it in the right spirit.

Nice to see Brendan on ITT tonight feels like my year has finally started now Brendan is back .

Can I add something to the 'great hair debate'?

Brendan's hair is naturally lighter than normal due to a sunshine filled holiday and not having the normal curl taming gunk on it! I had the fortune to catch up with him in the summer and it was very light and natural then, so much so, my friend asked him straight out about it.

When I started straigntening my unruly mass of curls/frizz I got fed up telling folks that I hadn't dyed it! Just without gel/mousse mine was about 10 shades lighter too.

Feel better getting that off my chest & defending our boy again!

I don't think anyone was criticizing (sp?) the new look, just investigating the how and the what of it

He looks slightly better IMO, if that is even possible with his hair like this. It also is more of an invitation to run your hands through it. The 'old' hair looked so gelled that you'd probably have gotten stuck

That was better than I imagined it would be. Not great, but at least they have somewhere to go.

Loved his trousers!

I believe that Brendan choreographed the first routine on the live result show ...

I enjoyed the dance, loved the use of the mirror - it was very effective. I am also really enjoying seeing how happy Brendan is these days, his somersault, the joke with Bruno when he was saying 'Mirror, mirror on the wall......'
It seems to be a really nice group this year, they all praise each other and seem to be very supportive tweeting each other after the show..
Lulu should perhaps look at herself when thinlking about why it isn't going as she hoped it would, rather than implying it is up tp Brendan to find out how to teach her - I think he knows.
Maybe this dance and the comments will have given her confidence and she can pick up the dances quicker from now on, giving Brendan the time he needs to work on the finer points.

I liked the routine very much, very lyrical, as usual. Lulu seemed to have the character down quite well, now she needs to work on the finer points (as you said Liz, just didn't want to quote your message ).

Even my dad noticed he was a lot more relaxed this year, and when my mum showed him a photo of Zoe he could understand why

Lulu still has quite a bit to learn but since a lot of the GBP like a bit of a 'journey' I'm guessing that if she improves every week they could go quite far. People on this forum seem not to like her very much but I've learned over the years that the forum does in no way reflect the real mood of the GBP and so ignore any and all comments (much like Aliona told the judges )
