He is a beautiful dancer, wonderful at choreography, and looks younger each time

Apart from wum of course but I think the best course of action with him is to ignore, ignore, ignore much as I admire you Liz for championing our man there really is no point in engaging with wum as he will never listen

Lovely dance, beautiful choreography and well played by both. Shock and horror that no one is baying for his blood over that lift, most people could actually see his point.

As he said, there wasn't a lot of rumba content, but that was nicely hidden away by the broadway theme (and Harry's jive ).

I liked the cape, always a nice surprise when a present gets unwrapped

I actually for a moment thought that was some exotic new dance I'd never heard of...

Mambo doesn't make sense, but hey ho... just look forward to more dancing

I'm a Brendan fan - I love how he gives 100% support not only to his own partner but also to the all celebs. He takes genuine pleasure in the success of others and is the first to hug or put an encouraging hand on the shoulder of those who have been crushed by the judges; but .....

the lift was illegal ...and
there was little rhumba content in the dance
I can understand the need to cover up Lulu's inadequacies - but imo and in this instance Craig was right.

Dealing in hypothesis I find something missing with the Holly/Artem partnership and I do wonder/think Brendan might have been the one to draw the best out of her.

I thought it was lovely when their names were called out in the results show and Brendan was all "well done you!", then Lulu said "It's because of your choreography".....

Still can't take to her, although finding her less irritating than I thought!

Hi Ignazio lovely to hear from you

You know something you're right on your list but my issue with it is none of the others were pulled up for lack of content and /or lifts,if he was the only one it is a valid point if not why single that routine out? The only one who got pulled up for 'disco' content was Pasha & Chelsee and that to me was a joke too as imo it was one of the few that was true to the dance.

I still think Brendan should have had Holly,Vincent lulu,Anton and Artem ,poor sods, Nancy & Eggwina.

In saying all that and sounding like I'm ranting I do think Brendan is doing a fantastic job with lulu,in fact he's doing wonders and as Kat says I'm finding her less irritating (which is a huge shock for me) and mega kudos to him

Added thank goodness the mambo thing seems pure speculation and it looks like we are heading for a mish mash of dances again...just please not another theme week..please!!!

I think that Bendan is doing a wonderful job with Lulu and is so supportive - it is lovely to see how she has come round from the horror at the initial reveal of the partners to realising that she is actually very lucky. Brendan has created two beautiful dances for her and is so positive and encouraging.

I love his enthusiam for the show and joy he has in the dancing, regardless of the skills (or lack of) of his partner. Unlike some, he understands what the show about and has fun. I can't imagine SCD without him now. Take him out of the equation, and, apart from Anton, everyone is pretty serious - however unlike Anton, who unfairly to Nancy, is trying to recreate Ann, Brendan has the balance exactly right.

So I find Lulu fine as a partner - Brendan seems to enjoy the partnership and doesn't have the pressure he would feel with a top dancer. I also find their developing friendship and mutual support quite touching. I'd say they have one of the best relationships so far. And as someone who still doesn't know the first thing about dancing, but watches the show anyway, I absolutely loved the choreography, music and emotion of their last two dances.

Brendan seemed paticularly excited and emotional about Saturday's dance - I did see on twitter that he dedicated it to his father who died exactly one year ago on Saturday, so maybe that contributed.

have to disagree there was a lot of rubma content in their, walks and hip action, turns, was lovely rumba content.

but since there have been two other illegal lifts prior and craig didnt mention them, bit hypocritical to start because it was brendan.

Totally agree with that, and lulu commenting after brendan told her well done baby, and she said it was your cheogrgaphy that got them through was lovely to see!!

I agree with you on that, but it was necessary and fit the dance. I thought, after seeing some of the other routines where lifts and assisted kicks (Audley and Nathalie and Anita and Robin) had been incorporated, that maybe it would be allowed because it was 'broadway' week, but apparently not.
It is merely the randomness of the judges that annoys me.

To be fair Brendan himself said there was little rumba content in it on ITT.Considering the other dances which happened on saturday though it was positively bursting with content.

It was still a very good piece of choreography which suited the song and the celeb and is showing off his skill beautifully not to menton his lovely nature

As Cassie says it has all become panto now and not a dance show which is a shame.I generally just watch for the pros now and was a bit peed off when the celebs turned up in the first dance but hey ho will keep going as long as Brendan (Pasha & artem) keep me happy

I, too, saw at least one other lift so if the judges were to comment on lifts, they should have commented on all of them.

Where has that year gone since Brendan's father died; time is a strange thing, anniversaries can seem a long time ago at times and at others just like yesterday.

I think that Brendan is a very good teacher.

Exactly my reaction, I really went "oh cr@p, they're ruining it!"

Half the time I don't even know if the celeb is dancing alright or not, because I'm just looking at the pro('s toosh wiggle about )
