I saw that Musicangel - there really is no point in trying they will just hijack every thread you start I've spent years trying to defend Brendan - i know its more lulu this year - all it does is put me in bad form. I still haven't recovered the year he was in it with Lisa and the BBC had their own forums - it was actually frightening what was said So now i just enjoy watching Brendan dance instead and don't get involved with them!

I think Brendan is really enjoying working with Lulu though, for him it doesn't seem to be about winning any more, but getting as far as he can, or thinks he should, with his partner. It has been clear on some occasions in the past that he has felt bad about staying in over someone who was really devastated or who he felt didn't deserve to leave. That is why I have found the ongoing negativity about Brendan hard to understand sometimes. Can't people see through the BBC's publicity machine. It is much better this year though.

As for Lulu, I don't understand the negativity about her either. I have no idea what she has done or how she has behaved in the past, but she seems perfectly pleasant to me. She is fun, doesn't take the judges or herself too seriously. They are a couple with personality and they give the impression they are enjoying themselves - the same cannot be said about everyone, most if I am honest!

I do wonder how representative DS is, because they have no chance to stay much longer, if she is as hated by the general public as she seems to be here.

It is worrying that so many people have such low opinons of either Lulu or Brendan or both... worrying in that we may get to see him for less weeks but I genuinely DID enjoy their samba and am looking forward to Halloween week as I hope the audience are too. I'm assuming they're going to have a Ballroom dance next week which may not suit Lulu as much but perhaps with the Halloween theme it will help with regards to the high performance level that Lulu has and maybe the samba will have given her even more confidence to work on the dance technique.
Going to try to book tickets to go see Brendan AGAIN in February He's not coming very close to me this time but my Mum expressed an interest to go and see the show this time so we may make a trip a bit further away!

I am going to go again for the third time lol...!!!!fab evening I wonder who the replacment dancer for nichole will be ...

It's a Pasa Doble, and for this week, we're going to make it the Vampire Fight, rather than the Bull Fight.

I loved Brendan's phone-in to ITT last night as Bob, a massive fan of Brendan, praising his dancing, choreogaphy, looks etc. It is geat that people are getting to know the Brendan that all the fellow pros and celebrities have always seen.
I hope the dance goes well tomorrow and Lulu remembers the dance well enough to be in the right place at the right time, so that they can put on anotheer good performance.
They seem to be having fun together, which is lovely to see.

Brendan was funny on ITT, loved Bob (especially that he hadn't thought it through enough to actually come up with a name and after a moment of hesitation came up with BOB!), but got the feeling that Brendan is dumbing down his routines to fit Lulu's proficiency level.

Yeah loved BOB,loving relaxed Brendan too. Hoping Nancy or Anita go out this week. I'm afraid Anita has become my unreasonable 'hate' this year,sure she's a lovely lady but all I can think of when I see her is Bonnie Langford and it sets my teeth on edge. Also massively over marked (IMO of course)have a feeling they will do a Natalie Cassidy on her and once they have got rid of all the ones they don't like her marks will plummet.

Zoe is such a lucky lady, Brendan looked good even as a zombie/decomposing body/whatever the heck he was if he wasn't one of those two...

Loved the routine and very brave of him leaving her alone for much of it, but they pulled it off.

I really love Brendan this year, alright I always love Brendan but he's been so happy and so energetic!

I mean ok Lulu isn't the best dancer on the show but I love watching them, she puts so much energy into the dancing and both of them look like they are having the best of times .

Absolutely loved the American Smooth,so beautiful.Brendan looked adorable
