Well, there was very disappointingly little Brendan content on ITT tonight (jeez, it’s almost like there are other people in this competition! Pfft, what‘s with that?!) but I have to say his partnership with Anita seems to be yielding fairly positive results so far. She still looks a little unsure of herself, and I think that losing Robin has shaken her confidence a bit, but I can definitely see something of a sultry, sexy little edge beginning to creep into her dancing. I really think that he could coax something special out of her this weekend!

Not much else of merit to add. His arse looked great in those jeans, and I love the way that his eyes crease when he smiles. I wish they’d hurry up and update BBC iplayer so that I can perv at him some more!

Anita looks like a rabbit caught in the headlights, but those last little chacha walks she did actually looked rather good (straight legs! It's a miracle!). I can imagine Brendan is completely different to Robin, but I can also imagine why Brendan is pushing her so hard. He sure as heck doesn't want to be the first pro who got booted off SCD twice in one season nor does he want to let anybody down (Anita, Robin or himself). Sometimes I just shout at the tv that she should get a spine, but then I remember those VT's are as 'real' as a unicorn so I just go and make myself a cuppa.

Yeah, I imagine that Brendan is a fairly hard task master, so it must be a bit of a shock after Robin’s softly-softly approach, but look at the results that he’s gotten out of her already (straight legs! Who‘d have thought?!). Brendan strikes me as a man who has high expectations of himself, as well as those he works with, and I don’t think that he tolerates slackers lightly. But he is also one of the funniest, most supportive pros, and he will only push someone as hard as he thought they could manage. I’m sure he’ll do wonderful things with Anita, and I have every faith that they will pull something spectacular out of the bag on Sunday!
