I hope Mary gets a slot near the end of the show this Saturday.

It's about time!

Was good to see Mary back on form this week. Hope she makes it, but with Katie and Paije also giving good performances and Wagner likely to get a huge symapthy vote, I do worry!

Mary's best week since Week 1.I'd be surprised if she landed in the bottom 2 tonight, simply because she gave a strong performance and the big favourites all appeared to underperform.

Mary was back to her old self and it was good to see. She's had a rather low profile lately though and though it could be an advantage in some ways I hope her fan base goes all out to keep her in this week.

I actually think that Rebecca is more likely to go than Mary tonight, but it's just a guess.

Delighted that Mary went through again. She could reach the final at this rate.

Louis needs to choose her songs well. With good songs she can go further in the contest as she has a great voice.

Mary told the press yesterday she feels she is growing in confidence at last. She said Saturday was the first time she felt great stepping out on the stage and she had no fear in her at all

Good luck tonight Mary. I suspect you will have to put up with the usual Cowell antics.

Hi there .....just popped over to say I thought Mary sang really well tonight...with a lot of "swagger". How predictable that Cher would go through...despite Mary giving the best performance. Anyhow, just wanted to say sorry....she did really well and was very gracious in defeat. I think, whatever happens, she'll do ok.

Sorry to see Mary go. She was the best in the singoff by far.

Among all the drama, the fact that Mary seems to have been offered an album deal seems to have got lost.

What songs would people like to see on it? We need to get this thread more active!

The voting figures confirm what some us suspected: that Mary was a real contender to win the competition. She was stitched up by Simon and the producers in every way possible to keep that from happening, and sent home when she had several more percentage points of the vote than Cher.

Well done, Mary.

Looking at the results. Mary was also close to One Direction too. If Mary was through, she could have gone past One Direction into the final three (potentially).

Yes, if she had the benefit of the advantages given to 1D over the course of the show I think it's quite possible, even likely, that Mary would have made the final three.

She can be quite proud of her showing.

Mary did brilliantly considering how hard the producers tried to get her out. She probably could have won if they had just left her alone.

I did like Cher but I'm sorry to hear what has happened to Mary. Its very unfair and there should have been a sing off between Cher and mary in the semifinals. They should have gone with the viewers vote. I mean what's the point in having the public voting if they are not going to have the final word. And reading the thread on the main forum last night about how well Mary did throughout the competition in the figures that were released about the all the weeks its shameful she wasnt through to the final. Not really very fair is it?

Hey everyone, this isn't really Mary-related, but I just wanted to mention the threads I've posted recently. The idea is everyone will vote for their 3 fave pre-live show performances, and their 3 fave live show performances, and then I'll create a top 10 out of the votes for each. I'm sure some of you have already seen them, it's just it'd be good to get as many responses as possible, so I thought I'd post it in all the appreciation threads, as I know some people stay on them rather than going into the MF (cause it's kind of ridiculous in there).

These are the links:

Pre-live: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/s...8#post46559188

Live: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/s...3#post46559223

Thank you
