bt wanting more money just coz of bill format change help!
For the past 4 days i have tried to log onto bt's website to view my bill and payment details and the billing section has been out of order.
And just as i was getting used to the old format they have messed around with their website so it is incredably hard to navigate round it to find out if anything on the site that could help. i get paid every 4 weeks so the date moves around a bit i have sucessfully in the past managed to change the date of the direct debit so there would be money there for it but thats just where the problem lies. I rang up and spoke to a women (in ENGLAND)!!who assured me that i had changed it with sufficent time to spare and that yes they still have all the bank details etc only for me to recieve an interim bill and lots of phone calls from bt asking about payment.and my direct details as they didn't hav it on file/couldn't find it yet i was told they didn't loose it I was told it had all be settled and they did have my bank details yet i have a letter stating/phone calls demanding i pay more.And all my bank details were requied again.have got all faculties despite being told on the phone the date had been changed we use about 18 a month on phone calls the rest is standing charge and bt vision as the put them all together this makes life very hard as they now want a lot more i want it to go back to the old way of playing and i want to do it monthly . bt say i need to pay an outstanding amount or there will be problems if didn't pay the interim bill,they now say i have been billed for standing charges for 3 months i want to pay monthly only and i want the bill redivided up again so i can have 1 standing charge at a time and the other bt bills(vision/phone seperate) like before, i am disabled and it is too much to pay all in one go,i cannot afford much .i was told a requset for 50 pound a month could be considered instead of what you wanted Last edited by f1honeybunny : 29-08-2010 at 04:02. further to previous unsolved topic
i have been trying now for over a week (over the bank holiday weekend too) and still i get error messages saying i must try later on the bt site which since they revamped it has been an absolute nightmare!
bbut today they asked if i wanted to fill in a survey about my experiences boy did they get a reply on their survey. I thought bt watched digital spy it was in the paper (coz they don't like bad feedback!) so come on bt reply i am not a happy bunny!! |

I know how you feel, BT has to have the worst website ever, you spend ages going around and around and if you do ever find the one page you actually looking for it's always the one that's not working.
For about 5 years they've been sending me letters telling me that they don't have my email address and they can't send me my online bill and if I don't give them the info I'll be cut off for not paying my bill. This always arrives after I've paid the bill. I never applied for online billing as it would probably count as a new contract being started. |
