9300t pausing/jumping
millermen

I've had a Grade A 9300t for a couple of weeks but having problems, it can be OK for a couple of days but then keeps pausing then jumping for a split second, last night I left it turned on and this morning it showned no channel on BBC2 until I swopped to BBC1 then back again, then it started pausing. This problem seems worst if a 'live' program as been paused then fast forwarded. When I first installed it, it took 3 goes to find all the chaanels without them breaking up, signal strength is about 75% with quality mostly at 100% but goes down to 60% now and again for a second. TV freeview is OK and old PVR was OK.

You may have tuned into different frequencies/transmitters than your TV and old PVR.

Have a go with manual tuning. Details from a recent post on how to do this are here: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/s...08&postcount=6

There is an updated version of Big-les's tuning instruction in the post here.

Done the manual tune but forgot to delete radio channels. It seems to be getting worst with time going to try it in a different house (on same transmitter Emley moor)

What software version are you running? My grade A came with .18, which is a bit old. You really need .23

Have you checked that the Humax is tuned to the same frequency as the TV for any of the channels that jump on the Humax?
