Sky Box To Projector Wireless Connection ?
I'm awaiting delivery of a projector ( Optoma HD200) and understand I'll need an adaptor to connect my Sky box. Any suggestions as to the best to use please. Also, is it possible to use a wireless connection ? The projector is going to be situated a long way from the nearest wall and with kids constantly charging about the place I'd prefer not to have cables running across the room (as long as it doesn't affect picture quality.)
I currently have Sky Plus but will be upgrading to Sky HD soon - do both connect to the projector using the same cable ? Thanks |

If your projector has HDMI and you want a HD from your Sky HD then I believe you will need to use that.
I have not seen any wireless HD options, though 10m should not be a problem for a quality HDMI cable. |

As it''s an HD projector you will need an HDMI cable to connect Sky HD, there's no wireless option (unless you don't mind paying silly money).
But Sky+ doesn't have HDMI, so you will need SCART, AV or S-Video, depending what the projector will accept. |

If its the 200X then apparently it should support SCART or component via adaptor. You can get 10m scart leads but even with good quality cable you might experiance loss of quality at that length
