Best DVD recorder for transferring Sky programmes
I am trying to move Sky+HD recorded programmes to a dvd or even something with a Hard Disk built in using the scart lead. I will have about 100 hours of SD to move.
What dvd recorded, or something simlair, would be best? |

Also, DVD recorders have never really took off, and so hard-disc recorder is the way forward with transferring large archives from an obsolete format to a new one. It's a bit late and I'm vair tired at the moment, so may suggest some hard disc recorders to you tomorrow. |

You should get a combi dvd/hard drive recorder . This will allow you to copy 6 hours at a time to the hard drive then once completed you can edit the recordings then burn them individually to dvd.
Bulk recording is a bit restricted on Panasonic recorders but if you can get a Pioneer one you will find the task a bit easier . Pioneer don't seem to make recorders anymore but you could buy used or go for a brand new but discontinued model from Amazon sellers. Unless you are on a very low budget don't go for a cheapie make like LG or Liteon |
