My mate went to top up his phone when e-top ups were just new out. Asking to put a fiver in the guy miss-typed and stuck £50 quid in.

When I put in the SIM in my new phone, I went off to top it uff. Me and my friend went to three stores... each rejected my card and said it wouldn't top up. I got back to my friends house, checked my balance and there was £40.00 on the phone...

Probably the closest I've come to that is about 2Gb of free O2 GPRS over the past few months. Okay so they were advertising it as free but I would have thought they'd have some sort of fair use policy. If it were charged at their standard rate (£2.35 per Mb), my 2Gb (2048Mb) would have set me back around £4813. Ouch.
